In my future classroom, i could use QR codes to add information to the walls in my classroom. For example, on a word wall I can have a QR code that takes them to a document with different sight words or information about sentence structure.

In my future classroom I can have a game using QR codes where some codes lead to pictures and some QR codes lead to a description. The students can explore the QR codes and pair the pictures with the description after following each QR code.
-Ericka

In my future classroom, I would use QR codes to watch videos. I really like the way Dr. McCormick uses them to share different videos for different activities. I would have students work in groups to complete an assignment by watching videos.

I would use QR codes in my future classroom when sharing information with students and parents. One way i could use QR codes would be during parent teacher night as a way of easily sharing information with my parents that they could save to their smart devices. I also would use QR codes when presenting material to my students as a way of incorporating technology into my classroom.

In my future classroom I would us QR codes as a part of independent work time. So if we as a class were continuing an assignment or had a lot to do that day then i would have the students scan the QR codes for the next pat of the activities during the day. So they could use their tablets and scan the code to watch a video and reflect. Or i would give them a link to a site like padlet they need to make comments on.

I think that QR codes are really helpful to connect links to important information. Something specific it could be helpful with is communicating field trip information to parents. You could easily send home a letter about a field trip and have a QR code that connects to the website of where you are going. In addition to that, the day of the field trip, for any chaperones, you could have a QR code connect to the day's daily schedule, that way they can scan at the beginning of the day and have the schedule on their phones for the rest of the day.

In my future classrooms I would use QR codes to make it easier for students to follow along with certain things! If teaching a lesson, I would provide a QR code with supporting information about the topic so that the students could read along and have more information to look at about the topic. I would also use it as a direct link to my contact information to put at the bottom of any handouts going home.

I could use QR codes in my classroom as a medium for voting on class discussions. When classes have to make a decision, the teacher can create a poll that is accessible through a QR code. This allows students to silently vote independently without other students knowing their choice if it is not the popular opinion.
