         <description><![CDATA[<div>This panels is significant because it is placed at the time Majane is leaving to Vienna. As she is walking into the airport, she says that she will not turn back. But she ends up doing so and regreting it because it looks as if her mother has fainted into her fathers arms. This gives the reader a sense of sadness because Majane is afraid that that could be the last time she sees them.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This, in my opinion, is the saddest panel in the entire Graphic Novel. Before this, Marjane's mother is explaining that he father was arrested and deteriorating in prison, but as a young girl she did not understand how much pain the isolation had caused him. This fills the reader with melancholy because she is a young innocent girl who is not old enough to understand why her father aches when she plays with him, or why she cannot see his everyday.</div>]]></description>
