I chose this book because I like to read a book that doesn't just have one persons point of view but every ones point of view. I like a book where every chapter is a different person and how they feel and think. In my book so far I like or I should say I love how every chapter is a different story with different people. Each story is either heart warming or heart breaking. Each story makes you want to read further and not stop. Levithan writes these stories that you can relate to and just reflect on and it's beautiful. This book is very different from any of the other books I have read simply because this book is all about love stories and love stories to me have to be very well put together for me to keep my interest in them. This is the second book on a romantic topic that I have actually liked and that has kept me interested. I am not quite done with this book but so far the author has taught me that love will come in very strange and unexpected ways. The author writes these stories that connect with you on such a personal level and that's why I think I love this book so much. I just started reading this book and it's starting off very well. The first couple of pages i read are very attention grabbing to me because it's her first day of high school and i make a connection to it because when it was my first day of high school i felt the same way. The way Anderson chooses her words are very incredible. She uses words that speak to you and give the story that connection you want from a book. This book to me has a real world connection because some people, mostly teens, have a very difficult time speaking up about something they are going though and people should never go though something like that. In my book i wonder how teachers feel about her not talking at all. How does she communicate and get around if she doesn't talk? I know i sure enough could not do that. I am hoping that she eventually gets what she needs to say out because i'm sure it's just eating her alive not being able to say what she needs to say. I feel like she should talk more because people want to know what she has to say. This book makes me see the world differently because now i know some people may have things going on in their life and they just don't say anything. It was one of the most well put together books i have read so far. I feel like this book had a lot of meaning to it and when i read it i could imagine the things described happening. I really loved how the book was in this kind of poetic format but the story itself was not poetry. One other thing i really love about the book is how it can tell you so much in like 5 words.
