         <description><![CDATA[<p>Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun and the smallest in our solar system, only slightly larger than Earth's Moon. It has a rocky, cratered surface that resembles the Moon’s, and because it has almost no atmosphere, it experiences extreme temperature swings from scorching hot during the day to freezing cold at night. A year on Mercury (its orbit around the Sun) lasts just 88 Earth days, but its rotation is so slow that one day on Mercury is about 59 Earth days long. Despite its small size, Mercury has a surprisingly strong magnetic field, likely due to a large iron core. It has no moons or rings, and its highly elliptical orbit makes it unique among the planets. Mercury has been visited by only a few spacecraft, including Mariner 10 and MESSENGER, with a new missionBepi Colombo set to arrive soon.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Jupiter is the biggest planet in our solar system. Its thick air is made mostly of gases called hydrogen and helium, with small amounts of other gases like methane, ammonia, and water vapor. These gases form colorful clouds that move around Jupiter in stripes, which cause strong winds and storms. One of these storms, called the Great Red Spot, is very big and has been going for over 400 years. It is so huge that Earth could fit inside it two or three times! Jupiter is a gas giant, so it doesn’t have a solid surface like Earth. If you tried to land on it, you would sink through thick gas and liquid. Inside, it might have a small rocky center, but mostly it is made of liquid hydrogen under a lot of pressure. Jupiter spins very fast, which makes it look wider in the middle and flatter at the top and bottom. This fast spin also creates a strong magnetic field that traps tiny particles and makes bright lights called auroras near its poles. Jupiter has many moons, including four big ones called the Galilean moons. Scientists are especially interested in one moon named Europa because it has a smooth icy surface that might cover a deep ocean, which could support life. Jupiter’s strong gravity also pulls in or pushes away comets and asteroids, protecting planets closer to the Sun, like Earth. Many spacecraft, including the current one called Juno, have visited Jupiter to learn more about its atmosphere, magnetic field, and inside. Jupiter is a giant, amazing planet that helps us understand more about space.</p><p><br/></p><p>Jupiter is the biggest planet in our solar system and is mostly made of gases like hydrogen and helium. It has a giant storm called the Great Red Spot that has lasted for over 400 years. Jupiter spins very fast, so a day there is only about 10 hours long. It has many moons, including one called Europa that might have an ocean under its ice. Jupiter also has a strong magnetic field that creates bright lights near its poles.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Our solar system has eight planets that are very different. The four closest to the Sun Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars are rocky and small. Mercury is tiny and very hot during the day but cold at night. Venus is covered with thick clouds and is super hot. Earth is the only planet with life and lots of water. Mars is red and cold with huge mountains and valleys. The four planets farther out Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are giant balls of gas and ice. Jupiter is the biggest, Saturn has beautiful rings, and Uranus spins on its side. Neptune is cold and windy, farthest from the Sun.The inner planets have few or no moons, but the outer planets have many moons and rings. These giant planets don’t have solid ground like Earth does. They are mostly made of gases and ices. Moving away from the Sun, it gets colder and the planets become bigger and stranger!Each planet is unique and tells us a different story about space.Each planet is unique and tells us a different story about space.Every planet moves around the Sun in its own special path called an orbit. Space missions and telescopes help us see details no one knew before. One day, people might even live on other planets or moons far from Earth!<strong>Venus spins backward</strong> compared to most planets, meaning the Sun rises in the west and sets in the east there. Because of this slow, backward rotation, one day on Venus (one full spin) is actually longer than its whole year (the time it takes to orbit the Sun). </p><p><br/></p><p>Venus is unique because it spins in the opposite direction from most planets in our solar system. This means that on Venus, the Sun rises in the west and sets in the east, which is the reverse of what we see on Earth. Even more surprising, Venus spins very slowly, so one full day on Venus how long it takes to complete one rotation is actually longer than its year, the time it takes to go all the way around the Sun. Mercury is the first planet to the Sun and is also the smallest planet, being about roughly 69.812 million kilometres away from the sun, or about 0.39 AU (Astronomical Units). It is named after the Roman message god in mythology, Mercury. Mercury also has the shortest orbit, giving it a year of only 88 days. It's average temperature is around 167 degrees celcius, which makes it the second hottest planet, which that title belongs to Venus, the second planet to the sun. Mercury, visually has a quite saturated grey colour. It has also been known since ancient times, too. Secondly, Venus. Venus is a terrestrial planet extremely similar in size to Earth. Because of this, some people colloquially refer it as to "Earth's Sister", however sometimes it is referred as to the "Morning Star" or the "Evening Star" because it shines extremely brightly. It's year is only 225 days, too, and is also spins backward and is extremely hot because of it's thick atmosphere, trapping heat from the sun. Also, Venus is named after the Roman Goddness of Love and Bueaty in Roman mythology. Another interesting thing about Venus is the fact that it's day is longer then a year, one rotation being 243 days, and the year previously being mentioned 225 days. Now, thirdly, Earth. Earth is the third planet and largest terrestrial planet to the sun and is in the Goldilocks zone, which is not too hot, or not too cold, and just in the right zone. The reason why Earth has life is because it's just right. It's tilt is just right, it's position is just rights, it's conditions are just right, just for life, making it able to host life. Also, the Earth is the closest planet with a moon to the sun, having one moon, AKA the "Moon". Another interesting thing about Earth that it is the only planet that does not have a name related to religion or mythology, it's name coming from the Old English "Eorþe", derrived from Germanic roots. It's name quite literally means "Dry land", "Soil", or in some cases "Ground". Earth is also the most mapped, most researched planet, most developed by far,  and the planet we most know about, and it's not even close. Earth has a year of 365 days. Fourthly, Mars. Mars is named after the god of war in mythology and is the second smallest planet in the Solar system, and is a major canidate for future colonisation and terraforming, and may be our future home when the sun becomes larger, making it impossible for life to be on the Earth. Mars is also known as the "Red Planet" for it's reddish-orange hue. Mars has 2 moons, Phobos and Deimos, but they are extremely small, and don't really effect the planet. A interesting fact about Mars is that in a few million to billion years it's moons will come too close to Mars, crashing into it. This might either create a mess or even theoretically make it rings, and it also has a year of 687 days. Now, fifthly, we've got Jupiter. Jupiter is a gas giant named after the king of gods in ancient Roman mythology. Jupiter is also the largest planet by far, being nearly 2x as larger then the other planets combined, and is the fifth planet to the sun, and has about 95 moons due to it's strong gravititional pull. Jupiter also has faint rings, however it is too faint to usually see, and it also has a large, iconic Red spot, which has existed for centuries. Now, Saturn. Saturn is the sixth planet to the sun and is mostly known for it's iconic rings. Saturn is the second largest planet, being a gas giant. Saturn also has a big red spot of its own, called the Saturn Hexagon, located at the north pole of Saturn.  Saturn is also named after the roman god of agriculture and wealth, Saturn. It also has super short days of 10.7 hours, and is the least dense planet, and has the most moons by far, with over 274 moons, which 128 were recently discovered. A interesting yet sad fact about Saturn is that it will eventually lose it's rings; but don't worry. It will happen in a few million years. Plus, it's been visited a few times; but only by space satelites. Also, it radiates more heat more then it recieves from the sun, which is unusal, and it also might have a giant, icy core 10x to 20x the mass of Earth.  Now, Uranus, a ice giant that is tilted 98 degrees, basically making it sideways, and scientists suggest that it might have a rocky, icy core. Uranus is named after the greek personification of the sky. Also, scientists also suggest that Uranus likely smells like rotten eggs due to it's abundance of methane. Uranus, like the other large planets has rings, however they are small, as similar to Jupiter. Uranus also has a weirdly tilted magnetosphere, it's magnetic field being tilted 59 degrees, tilted. Uranus also has 28 moons, too, which is interesting, too. It also has a extremely long orbit, it's year being 30,687 days, and only one spacecraft has officially visited Uranus due to it's distance to Earth and the Sun, being the second last planet, and another fun fact it is the coldest planet despite being the second last planet. Lastly, Neptune. Neptune is the last planet and it's year takes 60,190 days, twice the length of Uranus's year, and is named after the Roman god of the sea in mythology. It also emits more heat then Uranus, too. Another interesting fact about Neptune is the fact that with each more complex generations of camera design, it gets more saturated, with scientists now thinking that it may be the same or similar colour to Uranus. Neptune has a big Great Dark Spot, similar to Jupiter's Great Red Spot. The Great Dark Spot is about the size of Earth, too, and Neptune also has 14 moons, and one of them is massive, and called Triton. Scientists suggest Triton was previously a kuiper belt object or dwarf planet that eventually got attracted by Neptune's gravitional pull and became it's moon. A fun fact about Neptune is also that it has the fastest winds in the solar system, too. In conclusion, every planet is unique in it's own way, and despite visual simularities, they are extremely different all-around. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>( Doing Random planets).Our solar system has 9 planets (the nine planet is still in progess of forging like how early earth is).  I am going to talk about mars the planet is reconsidered as an dead planet. more like NOT a scientific zombie planet. (Theres no zombies on it the planet is the zombie like its dead). Mars is known for its active volcanos BILLIONS OF YEARS AGO, it has been active for a very very very longtime until it died down all volcanos on mars has gone extinct it is no longer alive.</p><p> NEXT PLANET:Earth</p><p>Earth the Planet we live on. Earth has a very habitable for us humans to live on lots of trees, grass,flowers. Did you know that Earth had all the elements from the other Planets in our Solar system!. Earth has Evovled everytime an Asteriod has hit it and repeating this for centuries like a time loop.</p><p>NEXT PLANET:Pluto (Ex-Planet 9)</p><p>Pluto reclassified as a Dwarf planet of its weird ways of rotation and orbitaiton. The sun has ejected pluto out of the orbit because of the neigbouring to it but now Pluto lies somewhere around the asteriod belt somewhere with the dwarf moons and planets. </p><p>NEXT PLANET:Neptune</p><p>Neptune is the coldest twins with uranus they are too far from the sun to get warmed up but they do have internal warmth but its not enough to warm the whole surface. </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
