There are so many pieces that support a great lifestyle here. It's close to the highway veins, Foothill Drive segways into Salt Lake City, and the Foothill mountains are filled with hiking trails. In terms of raising a family, there are plenty of schools, churches, and grocery stores. As far as inclusivity, tourism is inviting and there is space within the community to welcome visitors. I have also noticed that there are really no police stations nearby which lead me to believe it's a safe neighborhood. In terms of my blindspot, Foothill is socioeconomically higher in Salt Lake as it's up on a hill, away from bad pollution, and unfortunately more difficult for homeless people to live here. It's located next to a Walmart, the highway, Foothill Drive, several restaurants, close to Sugar House, and next door to SkiUtah. This makes a great piece for the neighborhood as it adds out-of-state visitors to be invited into the area in such a resourceful way. Having Walmart in the area is more inclusive as it's more affordable than higher-end grocers. It's in a perfect location in the neighborhood as Ski Utah is a tourism agency to help people plan their vacation.
