There are between 475 and 500 pupils from 3 to 12 years old distributed in two periods of Education: Infant Education and Primary Education. The school staff is made up of 40 people. The main language is Catalan. The other languages studied are Spanish and English. The principles of the school education are: democracy, solidarity, integration, innovation, equal opportunities, progress and no discrimination. 
Ferreries School has the aim to achieve the full education of pupils promoting their abilities and their reasoning through the application of innovative programmes and through individual attention.

Ferreries School is a friendly place. It collaborates with the nearest environment to promote the social cohesion. It promotes significant learning, ICT development, languages development and pupils autonomy.
