  • It is Wednesday morning at 10am. You are in your office when Ms. Smith, a US History teacher knocks on the door. In a worried voice, she tells you that she overheard three of her students talking about one of their classmates, who happens to be absent today. The students were discussing how the absent student had been made fun of the day before and that they saw him post on his Instagram story that he would be coming to school later today to “set things straight” with the individuals who had bullied him. He appeared to make a shooting hand gesture in his video. Ms. Smith tried to speak with her 3 students to get more information, but all they could say was that they heard a rumor that the absent student could have access to weapons at home because his mother is a Police Officer.
