Carnegie was born on November 25, 1835. He was born at Dunfermline, United Kingdom. In the late 19th- century he led the steel industry. He died August 11, 1919.

The San Francisco's Mark Hopkins hotel was also named after him. Hopkins was born Sept. 3, 1814. In 1861 Hopkins and his partner were approached by an enterprising engineer.  Hopkins died March 29, 1878.

Seligman migrated to the U.S. When he got to the U.S. he took advantage of family contracts and became a clerk for a businessman in Pennsylvania. He became a American Banker and and businessman. He died on April 25, 1880.

Clark was an American politician and entrepreneur. He was born in Pennsylvania. Clark was born Jan. 8, 1839. Clark made his way to gold fields to find his fortune in the Montana gold rush. Clark was involved with mining banking and railroads. He died March 2, 1925.
