         <description><![CDATA[<div>I am a lecturer in Project Management at Coventry University, has a successful track record of managing day-to-day business and operations activities in the Oil &amp; Gas and Chemical industries for over eight years. My skills in project management are diverse, encompassing new product development, quality standards establishment (including ISO 9001, 14001 &amp; OHSAS 18001, ISO/IEC 17025), and ERP software development. My expertise in delivering successful projects as a Project Manager for various Oil &amp; Gas organizations, along with my experience as a consultant expert for several Oil &amp; Gas businesses, has given me valuable insights and guidance into the industry.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Since 2021, I have been a lecturer in Project Management at Coventry University, where I am passionate about sharing my industry and academic experience with my students. My teaching subjects include Project Management, Supply Chain Management, and Logistics, and I am committed to providing my students with the skills and knowledge they need to excel as project managers and contribute to their organisations.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>My teaching philosophy is firmly grounded in constructivism, viewing learning as a dynamic and collaborative process where students actively construct their knowledge through experiences, exploration, and reflection. I emphasize the importance of unique student perspectives and prior knowledge, striving to create a supportive, interactive learning environment. In my classroom, I encourage questioning, exploration, and connections between new and existing knowledge, aiming for meaningful and relevant learning experiences. Assessment goes beyond testing knowledge to assess the learning process, employing formative methods and fostering open communication for growth. Collaboration is central, with group discussions and peer teaching, promoting social interaction and diverse perspectives as essential elements of the learning journey.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>In my current role as a lecturer in project management, my strengths lie in leveraging technology and innovative platforms such as Kahoot and Menti Meter to enhance student engagement with course topics. By incorporating real-world examples into my teaching, I ensure that the learning experience is not only relevant but also authentic, helping students grasp complex concepts more effectively. Furthermore, I employ various activities and gamification techniques to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking. Additionally, I prioritise creating a safe, open, friendly, and non-judgmental classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable voicing their thoughts, asking questions, and seeking the support they need. This fosters a collaborative and inclusive learning environment, enhancing the overall educational experience.<br><br></div><div>I am interested in enhancing my teaching capabilities by focusing on three key areas of development. Firstly, I am dedicated to furthering my expertise in technology integration for education. This involves mastering the use of existing tools while also staying abreast of emerging technologies that can revolutionize classroom engagement. For instance, I aim to explore augmented reality apps that can simulate project management scenarios for a more immersive learning experience. Secondly, I aspire to deepen my understanding of real-world applications in project management. I plan to invest time in studying recent industry trends and analysing compelling case studies, enabling me to continually enrich my teaching with relevant, up-to-date examples. Lastly, I am enthusiastic about fostering creativity in teaching, aiming to incorporate more interactive activities and gamification elements into my lessons. For instance, I am considering the development of a project management simulation game that allows students to apply their skills in a simulated project environment, enhancing their problem-solving abilities while making learning enjoyable. These areas of development align with my commitment to delivering a dynamic and impactful learning experience for my students while staying at the forefront of educational innovation.<br><br></div>]]></description>
