No. I do not agree that Artificial Intelligence can be a tool to help students learn more meaningfully and efficiently.
ChatGPT has many functions in addition to answering simple questions. It can also compose essays, create an app, build resumes, write codes and many more.
ChatGPT can also help to create basic lists, such as packing, grocery and to-do lists to make our daily life more productive. The possibilities are endless.
Even though ChatGPT may seem like a very intelligent AI, ChatGPT can write an entire full essay within seconds, making it easier for students to cheat or avoid learning how to write properly. This has led to some school districts blocking access to it.

Another concern with the AI chatbot is the possible spread of misinformation. Since the bot is not connected to the internet, it could make mistakes in what information it shares.
It usually depends on what students use ChatGPT for, there are good and bad purposes. If the students use the chatbot for creating lists and making notes, that is acceptable. Unfortunately, if the students are using ChatGPT to do their homework and essays, there is literally no point in learning and writing anymore. Some parents may also be frustrated seeing how their child is so into artificial intelligence and not using their own intelligence to do their work.

In a world where technology is increasing at a rapid pace, I feel that students should be equipped with the knowledge about how to include Artificial Intelligence into their learning. Artificial Intelligence also provides students, who are keen to learn more contents than what the syllabus covers, the opportunity to do so. Besides that, it not only corrects grammatical, spelling and punctuation errors, but it also tells us where our mistakes are. Hence, I strongly believe that ChatGPT will be useful to us someday

I disagree that artificial intelligence will help us , as many students may use ChatGPT to do their homework instead of writing it out by themselves. Artificial intelligence is heavily used by scientists , but it is also controversial to artists . For example, you want to enter a art or composition competition which is held online . Somebody may use artificial intelligence to cheat invade of it , but in real life, they only asked ChatGPT to create or write a piece for them. Another crucial item is your homework , many children who don't do their homework , may have used ChatGPT to submit it. But on the other side , there is a website which can check online compositions to see if they were written by ChatGPT. But if ChatGPT is used under supervision to check grammar and spelling , many people will benefit . In the end, ChatGPT is both helpful and harmful . So it all come to you , if you want to use it for the greater good or not.

ChatGPT can have both positive and negative effects on learning. It can help us, but it can also become a negative influence on learning.

On the positive side, ChatGPT can provide instant access to a vast amount of information on a wide range of topics. It can help users quickly find answers to their questions, explore new ideas, and deepen their understanding of various subjects.

We can use ChatGPT to further enhance our learning. For example, if we write a composition we can upload it to ChatGPT and get it to check our spelling and grammar to help better ourselves.

ChatGPT can also adapt to individual needs and provide personalised learning experiences. It can visualise your learning style and provide tailored explanations, examples, and practice exercises.

On the more negative side, if users of ChatGPT become too dependent on it for information and answers, they may neglect critical thinking and research skills. Relying solely on ChatGPT can affect independent learning and the development of problem-solving abilities.

Also, using ChatGPT too much can affect your ability to interact with people around you. Using this AI chatbot may stunt your ability to think properly and it can have negative affects on your brain.

However, if you use this AI chatbot responsibly, it can be an effective and helpful companion in learning topics. Personally, I have nothing against ChatGPT or other chatbots but I definitely do not think we should abuse this helper we have been given by overusing it.

No, I do not agree. ChatGPT is an example of AI, and it is used more often nowadays. I think students will be unreliable as ChatGPT can do anything they want. For example, ChatGPT can solve problem sums, answer exam-type questions, generate cool object names and make codes. This is very dangerous as I think it can affect future generations. If the students rely a lot on ChatGPT now, then in the future, everyone will be using ChatGPT and soon will lose the ability to think critically. After that, robots and Artificial Intelligence will soon take over the world and soon humans will no longer exist. But do not worry - that will take about millions of years until Artificial Intelligence is smart enough to take over the world! Did you know that the real masterminds are actually humans? For hundred of years, humans have been trying to work on something that is as smart as humans. Finally, approximately half a year ago, humans invented this new tool - ChatGPT.

How does this help students? You have been always thinking about this, haven’t you? Let me tell you about how this can and cannot help students. First, let us start on the positive side. ChatGPT can help teachers to brainstorm ideas to make their lessons interesting. Example, ChatGPT can say, “Use more building blocks and technology!” Although the solution may not work, it still gives the teacher another way of learning.

Now, let us look at the negative side. While ChatGPT can help teachers, it does not help students, especially those who are young. If a teacher gives homework to do at home, they have access to the devices, which is not good. They are able to use ChatGPT if they do not know a question instead of asking their parents. This is a disadvantage as they would use ChatGPT in everything and not think for themselves. During an examination, they cannot use their devices, so they cannot think using their brains as they rely on ChatGPT too much. In the end, students do not know a lot of questions and hence will get a borderline pass or even a fail! I don’t think anyone would like that!

I think that students should use their own brains and come up with an even better tool than ChatGPT in the future. This would not only benefit the future generations, but also keep the humans the smartest beings on earth! In conclusion, I do not agree Artificial Intelligence can be a tool to help students learn more deeply and meaningfully.

I disagree that AI can help students learn more deeply and meaningfully. Using AI takes away the curiosity for a student to go find the answers that they’re looking for. If everyone let’s say was to use ChatGPT then humans would no longer be able to think for themselves and would always rely on ChatGPT to do things . Humans would lose their knowledge to do things and there wouldn’t really be a point in school or work or even learning . Student would misuse AI into doing homework for them. But the moment they sit for an exam or PSLE they won’t have AI or ChatGBT with them, and being so reliant on AI they won’t have the knowledge to answer the questions probably ending up with a fail. The scary thing about AI is that even the creators of it do not fully understand how and where it gets it’s information from, as a human brain can’t calculate or process things as fast as a robot or computer. I think that the best thing to do is to just do things the old school way, relying on good old brainpower to avoid cheating of any sort.

Although I think it is extremely useful, there are certain disadvantages of using AI for education. Firstly, if we use ChatGPT for every single homework assignment that we get, it shows that we are asking for answers and we are not learning anything.

ChatGPT is an Artificial intelligence (AI) bot that instantly creates a piece of writing according to one’s request. This computer program creates fresh materials on its own by observing patterns in past human work. Thanks to its extraordinary ability to handle thousands of gigabytes of information, the bot can predict what would satisfy a given request and come up with content rapidly. Besides writing stories, compositions, poems and songs, the advanced software can also improve one’s written work and summarise long passages too. ChatGPT was released to the public on the internet in November 2022 but the information it was given was taken from the internet in 2021, so its knowledge may be slightly out-of-date.

Since its release, ChatGPT has been listed as an author or co-author of more than 200 e-books on Amazon’s Kindle store. And as far as I know, a Chinese song has been written about famous singer-songwriter, Jay Chou, using ChatGPT. However, this AI program has passed major examinations that students take which worries the teacher. If this bot can answer exam questions so easily, will it result in mass cheating?

As for the future, will we see more bots like ChatGPT take over certain responsibilities from our teachers? With AI having the ability to produce written assignments swiftly, teachers may shift their attention to our writing journey and give more weight to the learning process than the finished composition.

I feel that AI chatbots like ChatGPT will negatively impact the learning of students like me. I strongly disagree with the statement " AI can be a tool to help students learn more deeply and meaningfully." I feel that by using AI chatbots, students will rely too heavily on AIs and will stop using their own creativity. My father was the first to introduce ChatGPT to me. I was amazed by how the AI could write poems, stories, compositions and songs in a matter of seconds, but I also realised that the chatbot was limiting our ability to think critically and logically. If we are too reliant on ChatGPT, we will become unreliable as we can just ask the chatbot to do our homework for us and we will not reflect our true work. Our teachers will then not be able to help us improve on our weaknesses and our marks and grades will deteriorate in exams like PSLE or any other tests.
I personally would not use ChatGPT to help me with any of my assignments as I feel that it is cheating as my other fellow peers had put in hard work to complete the assignment. I hope that AI chatbots like ChatGPT will be prohibited to be used to help students with schoolwork and hope that no students are using these chatbots to cheat on their assignments. If you are, I would highly recommend you to stop using AI chatbots for any work and hand in original work to your teachers instead.
In conclusion, I disagree that AI chatbots can help students learn more deeply and meaningfully and think that no one should use these chatbots to help them with their work.

Although it is a tool for students, some students will take this opportunity to just rely on ChatGPT.
If students are using ChatGPT for all of their homework and assignments, students will not learn anything because they will just rely on ChatGPT. A bad thing is that when we have to do things on our own we will be so dependent on ChatGPT that we will not know how to. So that's why I feel that
we should be careful while using ChatGPt

ChatGPT is an increasingly controversial topic. Some believe it is a cheat code to get free grade on their assignments while, others believe that it will start a new revolution in AI technology. Well, I believe it is a double edged sword. While AI can give us a huge boost in productivity but for those looking for cheap grades, a great lack in mental capabilities. Generative AI is a very new and blossoming hot new topic that first popped up in the past 2-3 years and ChatGPT by Open AI is the biggest breakthrough in this area. It's sister brand, DALLE.2 Is the industry leader in Generative AI in the art industry. On my opinion about how AI will affect us in our day to day life, like the Personal Computer in 1974, it will be a worry for many at the start, but as the technology matures, it will ultimately make our world, a better, and safer place.

I believe that AI can certainly be a tool to help students learn more deeply and meaningfully, but only if it is used wisely and not misused. One type of AI to help us learn more deeply and meaningfully is ChatGPT. ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence bot and has numerous functions. When I was first introduced to this bot by my parents, I was amazed at what it could do. I learnt that, in just a matter of seconds, it can generate stories, poems and numerous other things. However, along with that, I found out that it can be even used to do your exam papers for you, which can lead to students cheating. We must use ChatGPT for our benefit and not for things such as cheating to "ace" a test as this can do more harm than good to us. We will become dependent on AI and will not use our own mind that we have been gifted with. Thus, we will be unable to do things on our own and the scope of improvement declines as we are unaware of our weaknesses.
On the flip side, it has many benefits. It has near perfect grammar. So to help myself learn better, I could ask it to correct my grammar in my writing or even ask it to help improve my composition. Furthermore, I can learn more about the differences between a genuinely good writer and what AI writes and learn how to develop my own writing style which will be unique to me. So, all in all, if used correctly and if not abused, ChatGPT can certainly be a greatly useful tool to enhance our way of learning.

Therefore they cannot think properly and will always rely on the artificial intelligence (AI). During exams they will not be used to having to rely on themselves and resulting in bad results and sometimes, failure.

If we are going to rely more on Ai, then during exams, we will not be able to the the paper correctly because we do not know how to do it. But we need to learn how to do things our own self then we can do our exams well
