I've been waiting for the release of this movie for years. I thought all this time they had been working on the film but from what I saw, it seems to me like they worked on it recently and for a short amount of time because it was really bad and I'm a fan of the films. I loved the first two movies. It really gave me chills and I can always go back and watch it again. This movie didn't scare a bit. There were just a few pop ups that made me jump. The creeper is supposed to be a creature but in this film it looked more like a man in a mask. Also, originally, the creeper wears all black but this creeper was wearing a red shirt and it not scary. It makes it seem like the creeper has a wardrobe. The makeup was terrible. Everyone was laughing. IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A COMEDY. The point of a horror film is that it is supposed to be scary. With all the horror films nowadays, I feel like that's what their doing and that's why it's not successful. M. Night knows what scary is.

There was some parts that were okay but overall it was just a waste of time. I had high expectations. I'm so disappointed.
Oh man, where do I even begin?

I've been waiting for Jeepers Creepers 3 since elementary school. When the day was finally announced last month, I couldn't contain my excitement...well, I could, simply because Jeepers Creepers had worn off a bit. I had realized that the first film, though good in certain aspects, was an overall flawed film, and that the second film was an outright piece of garbage. I predicted that this film would be bad, but oh man, I never could've guessed it would be as awful as it turned out to be. JC3 makes JC2 look good. There's so much wrong with this movie that I'm not even sure where to start.

First, let's start off with the plot, or lack thereof. There are several stories Jeepers Creepers 3 could've told, but it's like they didn't know which one to choose, so they just made a film with no plot at all. JC3 takes place in between 1 and 2, which is a baffling decision since that story didn't need to be told and it ruins the continuity of the JC timeline. The film revolves around, like, 9 characters and I don't even know which character would count as the "main" character because nobody gets adequate enough screen time. We have Officer Tubbs from the end of the first movie, a character so minor in the original that it really makes you wonder why Salva would write him a lead role. Then we have the team of Creeper Hunters led by Stan Shaw. We also have some dementia-stricken old lady, her teenage daughter, the country hunk that's crushing on her, a group of punk teenage bikers, and the Creeper himself. They all have notable screen time but most of them are totally pointless and some don't even have resolutions of concussions to their characters. Notice how out of all of these characters, I never mentioned Trisha? Despite Gina Phillips's on-poster credit, she is not in the movie at all and instead has a 15 second cameo at the very, very tail end of the movie. The film constantly flip-flops back and forth between all of these characters at the most inconvenient times, and by the time the story has come back around to a set of characters, we've already forgotten what's going on with them because the story has packed so much into a 5 minute span, yet so little at the same time.

The errors in the plot continue as, well, there is no plot. Pacing is something that seems totally oblivious to Salva and company, as the film had no distinguishable act structure of any kind. The film still felt like it was in it's 1st act at the hour mark, and I'm honestly not even sure what the climax was supposed to be, if the film even had a climax to begin with! We're just watching the film and suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, the screen turns black and the credits begin to roll. Tonal shifts are aggressive in this film, as one minute it's an episode of Degrassi, then it's John Carpenter's Vampires, then it's Evil Dead 2, and then it's American Horror Story. None of it matches and it feels like 3 or 4 random scripts were cobbled together without any editing. There are some moments the feel like Salva was trying to make a borderline comedy, but it's unclear mostly due to our next point...

Next is the production. Salva is a great cinematic director and the first two movies are filled with gorgeous shots and atmosphere so thick you could cut it with a blade. I suppose Salva got lazy with JC3 because this movie feels like it was made for TV. The film is laden with abysmal CGI, some of the worst I've ever seen in a theatrical release. The CGI in the original film looked better, and that came out in 2001. The editing and lighting are often so awful that you can't even tell what's happening; there is one instance where a biker is snatched, or something, by the Creeper, but it's so quick and shot so poorly you can't even tell what happens. An audience member behind me said "what just happened?" and I was glad I wasn't the only one. The production actually reaches "so bad it's hilarious" status on several occasions, including a slow-mo scene with the Creeper that was so over-the-top that it had the theater erupting in laughter. Trust me, it wasn't the only serious scene where the audience laughed hard at something meant to be serious.

Even The Creeper himself is ruined. One of the most intimidating horror villains of the modern horror age has been reduced to a slightly irritated staggering drunk. Whoever decided to give him that bright red T shirt should be fired, as it looks severely out of place on him. Oh, and we STILL don't know his origins. By this point, being teased on his history comes off as a cheap gimmick, like even Salva has no idea what to do about his backstory.

So there you have it. JC3 is possibly 2017's worst film so far. Too many main characters, an unfocused story with no conclusion, too much plot yet somehow not enough plot, absent pacing, a nonthreatening and goofy looking villain, Syfy channel levels of production, some of the worst CGI ever, and a massive kick in the groin towards the JC fan-base. I used to wonder why this film was denied a worldwide theatrical release, thinking Salva's history may be the culprit. I've now realized that the more likely reason is that the producers saw how awful this film was and couldn't bear to release this on the big screen. It's most definitely a home release, and that's where it should've gone. Judging by how hard my theater laughed at every scene, I doubt I'm the only one who holds these opinions.

This is one of the worst horror films I've ever seen. The kids in this movie make every other horror movie teen look like a genius. I lost count as to how many times they just stood somewhere watching the Creeper eat someone, or watching the Creeper coming towards them. And yet every time they insisted on standing around until the last minute, when one of them would finally snap out of it and yell repeatedly at their sibling to get the hell out of there. Not even worth watching. Not a single character is believable or worth caring about. I found myself wishing the kids would just get eaten to end the movie. Their acting was terrible. The actor playing Darius had only two emotions: Confused and bewildered. And neither came off as anything other than stupid. Don't look for this kid at the Oscars anytime soon. Okay, I can't write anything else. It's a waste of my life to give this film one more minute of my time. On a scale of 1-5 stars, I'd give this a 1, and that's a gift.
This was probably one of the worst "horror" movies to come out in a while. The special effects were bad. The acting so-so. The script bad. There really is nothing good to say about this movie. But if you must see it wait for it to come out in the dollar theater or wait til it comes out on video. It definitely is not worth theater prices.

Sinopsis :After 23 horrifying days of gorging on human flesh, an ancient creature known as the Creeper embarks on a final voracious feeding frenzy, terrorizing a group of varsity basketball players, cheerleaders and coaches stranded on a remote highway when their bus breaks down. I enjoyed the first movie, but this is actually pretty great. The creeper is a lot better than ever, there's more action and awesome special effects. In the first movie, all he ever did was drive a truck, but in this one, he flies. Awesome. This really saves up the film to be really satisfying. Also I heard there will be a "Jeepers Creepers 3" that I'm really looking forward to see. Overall, One of the best horror movie sequels ever made. 10 out of 10
simple folks, okay?...the creeper is awsome! simply awesome! scary, fast, furious, unique, wicked, unstoppable during his wakened period, and stronger than a herd of bulls! both 1 and 2 are excellent movies that had me under the covers and after part 2, i was taking the rental back to the store during the day and found myself looking up! jurassic park had me seeing raptors everywhere and every time a robin flew over my head i found myself afraid my own head was in danger! if you didn't like this movie, then you're in need of an oil change because the creeper is the new sheriff in town and i hope that there are many sequels to come...speaking of which, if there is a part three, many are crying for a prequel...i like the idea due to the way this series has started out but i believe it would be better to see an older "trish"(from the first one) going after the creeper to avenge her brother's demise...maybe played by julianne moore? she did a fairly good job as clarice starling, so why not? but the creeper and the movies are more than fine with me...

Sinopsis :Police officer Porky is called to investigate strange noises at a house that might be haunted. Before he arrives, we tour the house and hear some evil-sounding cackles, which, it turns out, are coming from a radio one that a ghost was listening to. The ghost then sings the title song while getting ready for a night of haunting, just as Porky arrives. The ghost invites him in with a woman's voice, then disappears. Porky comes in and gets spooked by some flapping curtains. When he comes back in, the ghost puts a couple frogs into a pair of shoes and sets them loose; they collect a hatrack and a curtain, forming a sort of black ghost that ultimately scares Porky upstairs right into the arms of the ghost.

No collection of old time cartoons would be complete without this one. If I were going to select my all-time favorite Warner Brother Loony Tunes cartoon, it would be a tie between this nutty ghost story and the nuttier "Porky in Wackyland" (1939) aka "Dough for the Do-Do". I first saw these as a small kid at the age of 4 or 5 and have been a fan of these old cartoons on into adulthood. The ones created in the 1930s and 1940s have always been the best.

Anyway, this nutty ghost story holds your attention from beginning to end. Imagine sitting in a police cruiser (Porky is an policeman in this one.) and being told to "investigate strange noises in an old, abandoned house. And to be careful - THERE MIGHT BE GHOSTS!!!!". Porky stops for a minute and thinks to himself "Did he say ghosts?" And the radio responds "Yes - you know those white things that go "BRAHH AH AH AHHH!". Great fun.

At the house there is a rambunctious, but overall seemingly harmless ghost with the voice of the great Pinto Colvig and a bizarre sense of humor (I can relate to that) that enjoys scaring people. And he does a great job on Porky once he arrives. (I won't reveal everything here.) And the disembodied "walking shoe" prank is hysterical. (I would love to a pull a gag like that.)

Great fun throughout.

(most often We Citizens of the (Then) Far Future) of our upcoming Calamities, Catastrophes, Cataclysms, and Apocalypti, when one of Warner's shorts or features spotlights a ghost among its main characters, we can surmise that Warner's prolific Prophets of Doom are working overtime to caution as about at least one prospective Dire Strait we'll soon be facing. Because JEEPERS CREEPERS only has TWO on-screen critters with speaking parts (not counting the frogs), we're treated to a scenario in which 50% of the cast is DEAD. This white specter is first shown smoking a cigar (and dunking his smoke rings into a cup of coffee!). Does this mean JEEPERS CREEPERS is a simple polemic against Big Tobacco? I think not. It's easy to overlook an earlier bit in which lightning fries the roaster weather vane atop the Haunted House into a cooked roast. Warner is telling us that America's goose will be toast IF we ever allow a traitorous minority to install Red Commie KGB Chief Vlad "The Mad Russian" Putin's puppet Rump into our White House. Just this morning on CNN Congresswoman Wasserman-Schultz of Florida estimated as least six million of our most loyal, patriotic, True Blue citizens--including many war heroes--will be rubbed out, liquidated, erased, slain, and murdered due to Putin's Rump Care bill passed yesterday (May the Force be With You, 2017). If memory serves, this is how many Jews Hitler burned up during the Holocaust. Perhaps Warner is forecasting with JEEPERS CREEPERS that we should expect a Rumpocaust Memorial to be erected on our National Mall 75 years from now.

I've been waiting for the release of this movie for years. I thought all this time they had been working on the film but from what I saw, it seems to me like they worked on it recently and for a short amount of time because it was really bad and I'm a fan of the films. I loved the first two movies. It really gave me chills and I can always go back and watch it again. This movie didn't scare a bit. There were just a few pop ups that made me jump. The creeper is supposed to be a creature but in this film it looked more like a man in a mask. Also, originally, the creeper wears all black but this creeper was wearing a red shirt and it not scary. It makes it seem like the creeper has a wardrobe. The makeup was terrible. Everyone was laughing. IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A COMEDY. The point of a horror film is that it is supposed to be scary. With all the horror films nowadays, I feel like that's what their doing and that's why it's not successful. M. Night knows what scary is.

There was some parts that were okay but overall it was just a waste of time. I had high expectations. I'm so disappointed.
Oh man, where do I even begin?

I've been waiting for Jeepers Creepers 3 since elementary school. When the day was finally announced last month, I couldn't contain my excitement...well, I could, simply because Jeepers Creepers had worn off a bit. I had realized that the first film, though good in certain aspects, was an overall flawed film, and that the second film was an outright piece of garbage. I predicted that this film would be bad, but oh man, I never could've guessed it would be as awful as it turned out to be. JC3 makes JC2 look good. There's so much wrong with this movie that I'm not even sure where to start.

First, let's start off with the plot, or lack thereof. There are several stories Jeepers Creepers 3 could've told, but it's like they didn't know which one to choose, so they just made a film with no plot at all. JC3 takes place in between 1 and 2, which is a baffling decision since that story didn't need to be told and it ruins the continuity of the JC timeline. The film revolves around, like, 9 characters and I don't even know which character would count as the "main" character because nobody gets adequate enough screen time. We have Officer Tubbs from the end of the first movie, a character so minor in the original that it really makes you wonder why Salva would write him a lead role. Then we have the team of Creeper Hunters led by Stan Shaw. We also have some dementia-stricken old lady, her teenage daughter, the country hunk that's crushing on her, a group of punk teenage bikers, and the Creeper himself. They all have notable screen time but most of them are totally pointless and some don't even have resolutions of concussions to their characters. Notice how out of all of these characters, I never mentioned Trisha? Despite Gina Phillips's on-poster credit, she is not in the movie at all and instead has a 15 second cameo at the very, very tail end of the movie. The film constantly flip-flops back and forth between all of these characters at the most inconvenient times, and by the time the story has come back around to a set of characters, we've already forgotten what's going on with them because the story has packed so much into a 5 minute span, yet so little at the same time.

The errors in the plot continue as, well, there is no plot. Pacing is something that seems totally oblivious to Salva and company, as the film had no distinguishable act structure of any kind. The film still felt like it was in it's 1st act at the hour mark, and I'm honestly not even sure what the climax was supposed to be, if the film even had a climax to begin with! We're just watching the film and suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, the screen turns black and the credits begin to roll. Tonal shifts are aggressive in this film, as one minute it's an episode of Degrassi, then it's John Carpenter's Vampires, then it's Evil Dead 2, and then it's American Horror Story. None of it matches and it feels like 3 or 4 random scripts were cobbled together without any editing. There are some moments the feel like Salva was trying to make a borderline comedy, but it's unclear mostly due to our next point...

Next is the production. Salva is a great cinematic director and the first two movies are filled with gorgeous shots and atmosphere so thick you could cut it with a blade. I suppose Salva got lazy with JC3 because this movie feels like it was made for TV. The film is laden with abysmal CGI, some of the worst I've ever seen in a theatrical release. The CGI in the original film looked better, and that came out in 2001. The editing and lighting are often so awful that you can't even tell what's happening; there is one instance where a biker is snatched, or something, by the Creeper, but it's so quick and shot so poorly you can't even tell what happens. An audience member behind me said "what just happened?" and I was glad I wasn't the only one. The production actually reaches "so bad it's hilarious" status on several occasions, including a slow-mo scene with the Creeper that was so over-the-top that it had the theater erupting in laughter. Trust me, it wasn't the only serious scene where the audience laughed hard at something meant to be serious.

Even The Creeper himself is ruined. One of the most intimidating horror villains of the modern horror age has been reduced to a slightly irritated staggering drunk. Whoever decided to give him that bright red T shirt should be fired, as it looks severely out of place on him. Oh, and we STILL don't know his origins. By this point, being teased on his history comes off as a cheap gimmick, like even Salva has no idea what to do about his backstory.

So there you have it. JC3 is possibly 2017's worst film so far. Too many main characters, an unfocused story with no conclusion, too much plot yet somehow not enough plot, absent pacing, a nonthreatening and goofy looking villain, Syfy channel levels of production, some of the worst CGI ever, and a massive kick in the groin towards the JC fan-base. I used to wonder why this film was denied a worldwide theatrical release, thinking Salva's history may be the culprit. I've now realized that the more likely reason is that the producers saw how awful this film was and couldn't bear to release this on the big screen. It's most definitely a home release, and that's where it should've gone. Judging by how hard my theater laughed at every scene, I doubt I'm the only one who holds these opinions.
