         <description><![CDATA[<div>It was an agreement among the thirteen original states in then U.S. The Articles of Confederation had more weaknesses than strengths. One of these weaknesses were, the Articles gave the congress the power to pass laws, but not the power to enforce laws. Another weakness is, they had no national Army or navy. And some of the strengths are, the articles were the first written agreement and constitution of the USA. Also, congress had the power to manage Native Indian fairs.</div>]]></description>
