         <description><![CDATA[<div>There's a couple things I do: I might pair them with a scholar that could be struggling. I have found scholars learn well from their peers because it's explain through through the brain of a child rather than an adult. If it's math or reading, I might give them an assignment that extends on what we are doing taking it a step further with more critical thinking or task that are higher on Blooms because it's still the same concept, but a little more challenging.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Scholars could write their own math word problems demonstrating their understanding of a particular concept.<br><br>Students could take a current science or social studies topic and write their own Readers' Theatre script to reflect their deeper understanding.<br><br>Scholars could write quality EOG-like questions in reading or math with answer choices (2 ridiculous, 1 close, 1 correct).<br><br>Anything that makes them delve deeper into a grade level topic is great!</div>]]></description>

Students take ownership over one specific aspect of a broad topic, create a PowerPoint or other presentation of their choice, and then teach the class. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div><strong>Jennifer Bumgardner</strong> | 12:37 PM </div><div>As a teacher, I differentiate for my gifted students through content (the curriculum student access and how they access it), process (how teachers sequence the learning and the ways in which students learn), product (how students demonstrate what they have learned), and environment (how learning is structured).&nbsp; I also utilize different types of lesson plans in which differentiation is built-in: Kaplan, technology, choice boards, Bloom's Revised Cognitive Taxonomy, Taba, Creative Problem Solving, etc. Currently in Enrichment and AIG, I am implementing Genius Hour during which students have about 45 minutes per week to work on a passion project. They will present their passion projects to others when it is complete. We spend about 6 weeks on this.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
