Him along with his sisters and brothers, Randy, Tito, Jermaine, Jackie, LaToya, Janet, Marlon, and Rebbie all took interest in music. Being pushed by his father; Joseph Jackson who was also drawn to music but let his dreams go to take care of his family. He so to speak forced Michael into the music industry at the age of 5.  Joseph pushed his children to success but in doing so he became violent and abusive.

In 1983, Jackson shared that the last tour for the album "Victory" would take place that very year.
At the age of 13, Michael began chasing a solo career in addition to his work with the Jackson 5, ending on the charts in 1971 with "Got to be there". Although Jackson's 3rd solo album "Music and Me" not as successful as his previous solo albums and as any of the albums with his brothers, on his 5th solo album "Off the wall" he won a Grammy Award for the song "Don't stop till you get Enough". 
In 1982, Jackson released his 6th solo album "Thriller". I'm sure every person on the Earth knows most of the songs in this album. The album stayed on charts for months and until 2015 it held the Number 1 spot.
On March 5, 2009 Michael came back after taking a big break from music, he declared that he will be returning for another tour "This is it." Unfortunately, for him and his fans and people as obsessed with him as I am, he passed away on June 25, 2009, just a month before the concert was set to occur, July 13th.

Not only did it make an immense impact on the music industry it also made an impact on people, I'm willing to bet that almost everyone knows this song!
Jackson's album "Bad" released in 1987 also reached the top of the charts, with a record of five Number 1 hits including "Man in the mirror" and "The way you make me Feel."

At first the group played local gigs and soon started to earn a stronger/bigger audience. They recorded their first single on their own, but it failed to gain interest.
