I would feel claustrophobic and disgusted due to sweaty bodies rubbing against me . This video looks like it took place in Chinatown before the pandemic as no one is seen wearing a mask . There are all people from all walks of life present with kids on their parents shoulders whining under the heat .In addition,I am a little socially awkward and introverted with people I am not familiar with.Thus I would feel very uncomfortable walking side by side with so many strangers. I vividly remember a time I had a similar experience like shown in the video. I was in a crowded shopping mall with many people. To make matters worst it was peak hour for human traffic there and people were crowding all over the mall. I had such a hard time there and felt so uncomfortable walking around. lack of vocab, 'uncomfortable' appears too many times; can elaborate on how you would muster the courage to brave the hordes to get the necessary shopping done for CNY celebrations;

During my free time I would go to the library. The plethora of books<del> there, the</del> and the quiet and peaceful environment allows me to explore different genres and get transported in the world of those books from fantasy to murder mysteries without spending <del>a lot of</del> any money to buy them. i first started going to the library when my friends brought me <del>to the library</del> there to study although we did not get much revision done that day. I discovered the perfect environment for me to study alone as compared to being at home where there are many distractions. So now everyday after school i always go to the library to study and to spend my leisure time reading there. i also enjoy attending the various library activities like volunteering to read story books to children at the library and seeing the excitement and joy it brings really warms the <del>cockles of</del> my heart.

I agree that it is better to fit in than to stand out in the crowd.
Firstly, I do not want to embarrass myself in front of a large crowd. A few years back, I participated in a spelling bee event during morning assembly. I remember feeling particularly confident that day. However, it all came to an end once it was my turn to spell a word. I put up my hand with utmost confidence but I spelt the word wrongly. The whole school was laughing at me and all I could do was watch them mortified. I was turning red from anger and humiliation. Ever since that experience, I would never participate in any programme that required me to stand in front of a large crowd. Therefore, to not face embarrassment anymore, I chose to fit in with the crowd rather than standing out.

Secondly, I would rather stick to the traditional stereotypes and not be different from the usual standards. Sporting funky hairstyles and neon clothes are so much different from what the "crowd" does or what is considered mainstream. Sometimes, standing out in the crowd may attract unwanted attraction. It is just asking to get bullied or made fun of. A few weeks ago, I saw a woman with neon green hair and a weird hairstyle. I saw many people giving her weird looks and I found myself judging her too. I told myself that I would never do that. Good ideas so far, vocab can be better but sadly, it is incomplete so NOT GRADED.

I would feel uncomfortable. I think this happens during Chinese new year in Chinatown as many people are there to replenish their daily necessities and buy new decorations for the festive season. As i am claustrophobic, i do not like being too close with numerous people around me. I am an introvert and prefer keeping to myself, thus with so many people around me, I would feel uncomfortable and out of place. Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, I think this is considered a rare sight with all the social distancing measures in place. Needs to describe more of the 5W1H / diff groups of people in the video; Can elaborate on what places you would visit now that the SMMs are slowly being lifted / eased

During my leisure time, I would visit Chinatown because of the lively atmosphere and bustling streets. The fragrance of traditional Chinese cuisine <del>wafted</del> would waft throughout the atmosphere in Chinatown, together with the bold red and gold tones that run through the neighborhood. Loud chatters filled the air and <del>I was ecstatic as I saw</del> I will get excited to see some of my favorite childhood candies in one of the stalls. This place greatly resonates with me as during this Covid-19 pandemic, i was unable to visit my relatives and thus, visiting Chinatown frequently brings me a sense of nostalgia and made me realize that i should cherish my time with loved ones whenever i can.

Personally for me I choose to stand out of the crowd. Standing out from the crowd can be a good thing too, it may because you have a certain ability or skill that sets you apart from the others. This characteristic of yours makes your special and it symbolises you. For example in the class, I have friends that possess outstanding leadership skills that gives them their specialties. In some situations that require skills like crowd management, leadership can play a huge role hence in cases like these, it really makes my friends stand out.
Standing out however may not always be a good thing as the reason for standing out from the crow is important too. One may standout due to reasons like not being able to socialise well. This plays a negative effect on one and is definitely not a good reason to standout from the crowd. INCOMPLETE, UNGRADED.

personally for me, i am a homebody and I would prefer to stay home instead of going out. I love to be in the comfort of my home as I am able to express myself without anybody judging me.

I am also able to do things that i am unable to do outside of my home such as baking. baking is a hobby of mine that i love a lot. Most often then not, you would find me baking during my leisure time. I love trying new recipes and using my family and friends as guinea pigs to try them out, and ask for feedback to improve on them. i remember trying to bake macarons for the first time. Although it required a lot skill and effort, they turned out fine and my family even said they tasted like the ones sold in an actual bakery. being able to create these delicious treats, and sharing them with my friends and family puts a smile to my on my face. As such, i would much prefer to stay home rather than visiting places outside. Focus should be on a PLACE; so you could include how your kitchen at home is equipped to help you explore your love for baking

I agree that it is better to fit in than to stand out from the crowd. Personally, I am an introvert person. Since when I was young, I never felt the need to interact with people as I feel happy being alone. Being an introvert, I will tend to mix with other people and rarely standing out from the crowd as I am scared that other people might pinpoint me for my wrong doing or misjudge me if I look or act differently from others. Need to include personal experiences , examples... when did this happen to you exactly? specify!

However standing out from the crowd allows us to have freedom. You have the freedom to do whatever you want. Instead of surrendering, you can be able to act freely on your own interests and you can do what you really enjoy instead of wasting time on things you do not care about. NEED MORE PERSONAL EXAMPLES!

All in all, I still feel that fitting in than standing out from a crowd is better as I am the person who does not like to be pinpointed for my wrong-doings. When someone pinpoints another persons mistake, a small one could become a bigger one. NO EXPLANATION, NO EXAMPLES So therefore, i agree with this statement.

A place that I would visit in my leisure time would be the cinema. The cinema is a very peaceful and comfortable environment as they have air conditioning and I can enjoy the movie with the best experience as compared to watching it at home where there are other family members. Watching movies help to relieve my stress as I get to watch movies that I have been looking forward to. They also have a variety of genres of films for me to choose from. As a introvert I would go to the cinema by myself as I get have some alone time and recharge myself. You can vary your vocab by including more descriptions of the movie theatre e.g. golden popcorns, plush, luxurious seats, wide screen fitted with state-of-the-art sound system to provide an immersive experience; Maybe elaborate on why you'd prefer watching a movie alone, e.g. enjoy my own thoughts in solitude, enjoy my own company, learn to be comfortable /independent

I agree that it is better to fit in to the crowd.

Firstly, it is easier to be accepted by society. Many people have their own opinions. When we have similar opinions there are more opportunities to make numerous friends. <del>Instead of</del> Having a different opinion <del>that </del>would make us the minority and we would be considered as an outcast. When I first joined my new class I was quiet and realised that so many people were also shy to interact with one another. But there were a few who were loud and obnoxious. I found that it was easier to relate to them as the majority of us were quiet and had more in common than the minority who were loud.

Secondly, it is more <del>possible</del> likely to gain support from others. Because we have the same views<del> as problems</del>, it makes it almost effortless to talk to many people and gain their trust and support. It is useful to have many ties with people when you need help for a cause. For example, in school when I needed the support of students to make a fundraiser for the underprivileged. I spoke to many people on a daily basis and convinced them to participate in the fundraiser.

On the other hand some may think that it is not better to fit in. This is because they might think that there may be more limits. Being able to fit in sometimes means caring about what others think <del>your reputation</del> and doing the same activities as the majority of people. This can limit certain individuals choices in life and might even cause them to rethink their path in life. For example, if everyone in a friend group is aiming to go to a prestigious university but one person might not have the same aims as them and feel pressured to change their views. Therefore, one might think that not fitting in might open doors to various opportunities as it is less limiting.

Many instances of wanting to 'fit in' happen around the world. In Singapore for example, during the preparation O levels many people either aim to go to polytechnics or junior colleges. This can result in many people focusing to complete higher levels of education. It is a type of motivation to push students to work hard and achieve better opportunities in their near future. Therefore it is beneficial for them.

Therefore, I agree that it is better to fit in than to stand out from the crowd. At the end of the day I think that it is fine if you are satisfied with your decisions in life and not feel pressured about other peoples choices in life.
