1. I have cut out 70 squares of 3 cm from a 30 cm lenght and 21 cm breadth chart
2. Possible measurements of square could be 1 cm

Activity 2.12 , I take the chart and found the HCF of it's length and breadth . Then I marked it equally at 3 cm distance and cut out the squares . Hence no chart pieces are left . All the 70 ( that's the answer ) squares are of equal size .

In this activity...I have taken a chart of length 20cm and breadth of 16cm and then cut them into squares of equal size.
1. The length of my square is 2cm.
2. The possible measures can be 1, 2 and 4 cm.
3. The longest possible measure can be 4cm.
