He experienced the second atomic bomb in Nagasaki.

The bomb had dropped in Nagasaki (Ausust 9, 1945) few weaks after he arrived.

He has to spy on the chinese and communicate this information with Ceylon and that was in Kandy, Ceylon (Sri Lanka).

Chainese Canadian where force to go to millitary as spies. The goverment didn't allowed them to go first but when the goverment needed someone to bring up information about the movement of the enemy line they saw that it's important to let the chainese canadians to go to the millitary.

It was so scary because they have to land in  Kuala Lumpur at night and they have to free theirselves quitly if they landed on a tree because if the enemy has found them, they won't take them as prisoners of war, they would just shoot on them because they don't know what information they have.
