Pop culture has changed extraordinarily as things have gotten more new, people are finding more things due to medical, and technology. They are also bringing back the old as 2018 is getting back into the 70’s fashion, the culture in how we look and wear are going back old style. That shows that the culture is growing but staying the same.   

These two decades are totally different to the twentieth century, as of the new fads. 60's and 70's fashion were bright, colourful, dresses were short, men wore tight trousers and turtle neck sweaters. Our time girls wear jeans and T shirts and boys wear chinos and a casual T shirt. Music was totally different as well as the 60's/70's had groovy music as Rolf Harris, Johnny O' Keefe, cold chisel, John Paul Young where very popular in the 60's. As of the 70's there was better music and more famous names were Young, The Hollies, Mental as Anything. Now the music genre is totally different as there are more rappers and pop music, such as; Post Malone, Drake, Anne-Marie, Shawn Medes, Cardi B. There was more respect in the 60's and 70's about their choice of words in their music then there is now.  
 
TV's where much different in the 60's/70's as their TV's were much smaller and there was less channels and less option on what to watch. Now there is many channels and different plans you can go on to get even more channels like; Netflix, Stan and Foxtel. The look of the TV was very different as well as they were small boxes with no remote, many people had to tune their own TV each time they watched television.  
  
 Cars were very popular in the 60's/70's as they were demanding smaller vehicles, the most popular cars were Lincoln-Mercury, Ford Falcon, the Chevrolet Corvair and the Plymouth Valiant. Now days there are more expensive cars like Jaguar, Suzuki Swift, BMW, Maserati, Mazda, Nissan, and Audi. Clearly there are more option then the earlier decades. Now they are creating cars that drive themselves and power by electricity, Cars now are getting more practical and are more suitable for cities. More vehicles are Automatic as there are more cities and it is harder for the manual cars to get around as it takes longer.   

Movies were black and white back in the 60's, most movies were set in the country like cowboys and Indians. 2018 movies have new cameras and effects, the movies are set where ever as they have smaller cameras that they can transport with them everywhere. There's not as many sound effects in now days movies as they replace them with music, there are more genres of movies now; Action, Thriller, Comedy, Horror, Si-i, Romance etc.

Many things were so new for the 60's as television was the best thing from sliced bread, people watched the black and white movies and the game shows what made the family room go mad. 1970's was much different as the TV was improving and more technology was coming out, fashion was improving, and different fads were spreading. The 60's and 70's were the years where everything started, and it has been a wild journey since then. The 80's brought in new hair styles, clothes, phones, TV's, music like Michael Jacksons- Thriller, Movies like E.T. There were many easier products coming out, like the CD. The 80's were all about colour a snazzy hair styles like the mullet and hair spayed hair. The 90's changed dramatically as style and taste was completely different, they changed to rock looking hair (as in the side ponytail) and their clothes got darker and most wore the parachute fabric. 2000's was a whole different world as Kath and Kim came to the screens of all Australian TV watchers, there were many more channels to watch and more shows to see. There have been more medical break throughs than ever before, people are getting smarter. These people are giving us a better lifestyle giving us new and improved technology. Now in 2018 the fashion industry are bringing back the 60's and 70's Boho/hippie fashion.
