The first image shows a Puritan family, puritans where the first people to come to America the Puritans were also very religious people who wanted to rid their churches of any British Catholic residual. The next picture is a picture of the devil which relates to the strong believe that the Puritans had that Satan was real and would act in the world as diseases, natural catastrophes, and bad fortune they also had the believe that Satan would recruit witches and warlocks to do the devils work against god. The next two pictures are what led to and what was the result of the witch trials. The first picture shows an Indian slave Tituba telling the 3 girls story’s about black magic and voodoo which played a major part in the witch trials because when Betty Paris and ministers daughter had began to act psychotic she had blamed her random burst of “illness” on Tituba along with 2 other girls starting the out break of with trials. The second picture is of Bridget bishop being hung for being convicted of witchcraft which happened to a total of 17 other men & women.
