*Dealt mainly around Christianity and the spread of influence. Almost like a reenactment of the conquest of Spain.

Hypothesis: I think we are going to read Othello, which dealt with the Turks and the Turks were a part of the Ottoman war. Man I hope we read Othello. :)

The renaissance gave way to many views that we know to be true today, such as the heliocentric theory. Also their research on the human anatomy began the foundation of what we know medically today.
Hypothesis:

During the Ottoman War the military in Europe changes. It also influences art because of the expansion.
Hypothesis:

I think our next lesson will be on how the Ottoman War and the Italian Renaissance effects our world today. Also different conflicts that happen during those centuries. How culture, art, and literature changed.

- Series of conflicts between the Ottoman empire and the Republic of Venice.
- Controlled most of Southeast Europe and lands around the Mediterrean Sea.
- Ottoman Empire participated in WW1 as one of the general powers ; November 14th, 1914.
- Moor was a home for dark skinned people with which the Europeans had contact with.

Italian Renaissance

- Was from the 14th century and the 17th century.
- Wrote in Latin and Greek.
- They showed humanist ideas.
- They believed in astrology and astronomy.
- Italian writers began to write in their own native languages.

Conclusion

- The Ottoman was a large empire and they were also very powerful. The Italian Renaissance were very creative and expressive with what they did, they also had many writers during that time.

Hypothesis

- In my hypothesis I believe that we will learn about what the Ottoman did, how they lived and how their relationship was with other empires/countries. I also believe that will learn about how the Italian Renaissance came to be.

The Italian Renaissance started around the 14th century AD. The people said the new age would be a”rinascit” ( rebirth) .
