Her stepmother finds out she is pregnant. She tells Emmy one day after school when they are doing the dishes then Emmy gets upset and throws down plates, the plates shatter all over the floor. After Emmy’s father gets home they talk about going to a camp for HIV positive girls. Emmy hates the idea but ends up going anyways, after she arrives and gets used to the camp. She realizes that she isn’t alone, the girls around her understand what it’s like. Emmy still thinks about her mom time to time, then understands that it’s not bad to let more people in her life and that she can’t stay holding on forever.

Naruto (main character) is a young boy who is hyper and doesn't like to think before he acts. In this book Naruto is training to become a master ninja but he keeps failing. Naruto ends up meeting this guy and he tells him to go steal the scroll of ninja arts. Once Naruto steels the scroll he begins to read it and copy all the ninja arts inside of the scroll. Once he starts to read the scroll all the master ninjas come after him but no one knows that's he is hiding in the middle of the forest and has been practicing the ninja arts for a while now. Eventually the guy that told Naruto to steal the scroll shows up and tells him to hand it over. As soon as Naruto is about to hand over the scroll his ninja teacher Iruka Umino shows up and throws a shuriken at him and tells Naruto not to trust him and tells him that he wants it for his own power. After that a battle breaks out and Iruka Umino has been defeated. By this point Naruto is furious he jumps in front of his teacher and performs a great shadow clone jutsu and defeats him.

Greg Heffley is the main character. In the beginning of the book Greg's family cannot stick to their new year resolutions. Greg's mom said that she would start going to the gym that afternoon, but she spent the whole day on the couch watching TV. Greg's dad said he was going on a strict diet and he did not. Even Greg's little brother Manny's resolution didn't last a full minute. And his other brother Rodrick didn't have a resolution. Later in the book Greg's dad talks to Greg about how he should go to Spang Union Military School. Well Greg did not like that idea. Later Greg's dad signed him up for soccer, and Greg was terrible at that. And Rodrick hat to go to SAT class. Finally at the end of the book Greg's family had to go to their neighbors baby's half birthday party. And Greg's dad had to act like a fool on camera. Right before Greg's dad went up Greg got stuck on a tree branch. So his dad had to go save him. Then his dad walked him right home and said, "That's my son!" Then the next morning Greg woke up at 11:00 AM and he was surprised because his dad was supposed to drive him to Spang Union at 8:00 AM. and when Greg went down stairs his dad wasn't even dressed yet. This book is about Hank Zipzer. He is a fourth grader. He has two best friends named Ashley and Frankie, a dog named Cheerio, a sister (who he doesn`t like sometimes) named Emily who has an iguana named Katherine, and a not so best friend named Robert.  He is bad at baseball. He wore Emily`s red socks with pink monkeys on it and went to play baseball with Papa Pete. He pitches greatly. He hides the socks from Emily because she needs them since they’re her lucky socks too.  Ashley and Frankie saw Hank pitch. Ashley makes Hank join the yellow team for the Olympiad, a contest at their school. Hank and Emily try to share the socks, but the socks don`t work when they only have one sock on.  Then no one wears the socks. So Hank barely plays in the Olympiad. Ashley makes him pitch on the last minute of the game with Hank’s lucky dog, Cheerio, in the bleachers. His team wins the game. Hank then realizes he doesn`t need lucky socks because he is now a winner.

The main character is Callie, and she and her friends are doing a play. Her friend is gay and he is keeping it a secret. His brother has no idea that he is gay. Some major events are they go to the bookstore twice, the play, and a dance. The main conflict is her trying to accept him being gay. I love this book because it shows a lesson of how to acceptance.

Iris, who is the main character of the book, is a fire-lover from the beginning. Her father left, and he was also a millionaire. One day, her mother received a call saying that her husband Ernest was going to die soon.  This was the last thing he wanted. He wanted to see Iris before he died. After the call, Iris was not ready to go, but she went anyways. Iris was also known for making a fire because she made some every day. Once they made it to Ernest's house, the place looked horrible. When Ernest meet Iris, he wanted to give the house to her and not to his wife. Iris spent all her time with Ernest until his last day. After his funeral, Iris' mother quickly went to get the expensive painting so she could sell them. Iris was only allowed to have one paint color, and it was called ¨ Fire Color One ¨. Then Iris found out something her dad was hiding, all the paintings were fake, but the ¨ Fire Color One ¨ was real. It could cost up to 40 million dollars. 16 year old Sierra Jenson (main character) is left home with her grandma, while her mom goes to her aunt's in Pheonix and her dad goes camping with her 2 younger brothers. When the next morning her grandma's doctor calls and says they recieved her grandma's medical tests and she needs to get her gall bladder remover due to gall bladder stones. When her grandma arrives at the hospital, they prepared her grandma for surgery. After the surgery her grandma sleept all day from the anastizhea and painkillers. When her grandma awakes Sierra called her mom and told them they were at the hospital. While Sierra is talking on the cell phone her grandma's mind slips and she starts pulling out the IV tubes. Sierra quickly settled down her grandmother and finished talking on the phone. When she exited the hospital she drove to the airport to pick up her mother. When they returned to the hospital  Sierra's grandmother was missing. When they found her she had pulled out the IV tubes and went down the elevator to the hospital gift shop and had broken her foot. Anne needs to get her baby back! But she can’t do it alone! With the help of Detecter Rashbach, she finds out shocking news of this crime scene. It all started at a dinner party, Anne and Marco “ her husband” decided to take turns checking on the baby. After Marco returns from his turn, Anne decides they need to go home, as they walk home, Anne sees their front door open. She rushes to the crib, and sees it empty, she cries and calls the police. Marco also mourns over their loss, and Anne calls her parents, which are very wealthy, although the parents and Marco don’t really like each other. The police question everyone day after day. Marco has a flashback of him going to his spot at the lake to cool down, after he had trouble financially with his business,  a man appeared and asked how he was, and Marco explained everything to him. The man tells him a plan, he can do to get money. Soon Cynthia “ the next door neighbor that had the dinner party” finds out something on their camera in their backyard. She calls Marco to watch it. Marco sees himself carrying the baby out of their backyard, and hands it over to someone in the car. The car drives out and leaves marks. When the clip is over Marco is stunned, Cynthia can turn him into the police, instead, she asks for money because his parents in law are rich. Later a letter gets sent to Anne and Marco. It was from the kidnapper, he told them that he would only give the baby back for $5 million. Marco agrees and drives to the place. Next thing he knows he gets knocked out. When he wakes up the money is gone and no baby in sight.  He tells the police the truth. But then he thinks again. That guy was always there for him when he needed money, and Anne said she saw him and her dad talking in a secret place. Then one night Anne sees her dad go out the back door and to a trail. She decides to follow him. Soon she sees her dad carry out the baby from a drunk lady in a car, she runs to the baby and the dad lies that he got it from the kidnapper for money. Anne is so happy to see her baby again! But that’s what not all! The police figured that the dad sent the man to Marco to tell him to kidnapp his own baby, and pretend the kidnapper was asking money in exchange for the baby, so then the man and Marco could get half the share. But then that man  tricked both the dad and Marco, and took all the money. Then the dad found the man and killed him. The dad planned all this to make Marco look like a kidnapper, and for Anne to break up with him. But after the police found all this out, the dad went straight to jail. This book was very surprising and shocking! Thank you for reading this summary!!!

After The Fall is about a team of 4 named team CFVY. The team contained four students who trained their hardest in Vacuo and now attend Beacon Acadamy. The four are named Coco Adel, Fox Allistar, Velvet Scarlatina, and Yatsuhashi Daichi. These four students had been training at Beacon until the fall of Beacon. The fall of Beacon was tragic and the whole school collapsed due to an invasion of the grimm, all kinds of animal species who arise from the pools of darkness. Now, they had to go back to the worst place ever: Vacuo. Vacuo was their hometown and the first place CFVY trained at. Vacuo was a deserted place with many crab-like grimm named "Death Stalkers". Team CFVY has only one way to survive from it. Since grimm are attracted to fear and never retreat, you must kill them. Team CFVY has to spend most of their life now in the deserts of Vacuo and fight off grimm to survive. At one point, team leader Coco had spotted an older woman named Slate trapped inside a large sand dune. Turns out she was the leader of a large, LARGE group of people who felt she could save everyone. She told them she had heard of a distress call to all the huntsman and huntresses, such as team CFVY, to help defeat a huge wave of grimm. Of course team CFVY answered, and Slate knew the way there. On their journey, they meet some of Slate's friends. A hardcore woman named Carmine, a cruel, trickster of a man named Bastill, and one more nice man named Gus. They all set on their journey to obliterate all the monsters of grimm. But, it was a long journey to get to the other side of Vacuo. As they went on and on, they met some old, and new friends. Some of Beacon's teachers were heading to the giant swarm of grimm as well, so they met up with CFVY. FInally, after many grimm fights and meeting up, Coco, Velvet, Fox, and Yatsu teamed up to defeat a large amount of grimm, such as a huge worm. Luckily, they had an advantage to climb onto a giant sand turtle to help them out. Many huntsman were facing hard battles, but luckily, they survived. They then realized that Vacuo doesn't have to be their home. Over the summer I read a book called “Petal Pushers” By: Catherine  Daly.  There was a girl named Delphinium "Del" Bloom. She loved her grandparents' flower shop, where it's always peaceful and calm unlike her cluttered house. She and her three sisters Rose, Aster, and Poppy. All of their names are a type of flower.  But then Gran and Gramps move away and leave the flower shop in the care of Del's unorganized parents! Their first order is for a big wedding and the bride wants everything especially the flowers to be PERFECT. But, the mean girl in Del's class happens to be a junior bridesmaid! After that, they start working on her flowers. Everyday after school Del goes to the flower shop and her family goes with her to help. Later, Olivia and the  mayor gets ready for their wedding while Del and her family sets up the flowers. The wedding was beautiful. After the wedding, Olivia told her how much she loved her flowers and her wedding. After that, Del called her grandparents and told them everything!
