I work with mentally and physically disabled individuals who I assist with daily living. My individuals are my best friends, my guys mean the world to me! Art is communication. Personally, I think the artist is sending a message to another person regardless of the viewers artistic skills. I come from a family farm of raising beef cattle and I grew up in the show livestock background as well, where I raised and showed pigs and sheep as well as cattle. I am an extrovert, so when I am not working or doing school work, I am with friends and family being my loud, crazy, outgoing self. I enjoy being outside as much as possible, whether that be hiking, kayaking, gardening, doing yoga, working out, or taking a nap in my hammock. I am a positive person and have a positive outlook for the next few weeks of this course! I am taking this class to finish my requirement for my creative arts class. I am terrible at art, but I find it very interesting because it can help describe so much. The different colors can show different emotions and the things people  draw can also describe how they feel. I would define art as a persons visual expression or representation of something. But I would also say that the definition of art is different depending on the person. We all see art differently and ultimately have different opinions on what is beautiful or impactful.

I am married with three children and do live in Springfield, IL.  My family and I love traveling; we take advantage of visiting as many states as possible and have gone out of the country several times. We haven't visited every state as yet, I think about 17 so far, but we are working on it : )  We enjoy the family time even when we don't travel away from home. I live in springfield am taking all of my Gen Ed classes at Lincoln land to get my ADN for nursing. After I finish at Lincoln land I am going to either do online classes or transfer to a university to get my BSN. For my future I want to be a NICU nurse, but I would love to get my NP (Nurse practitioner) and work with children. As far as exciting things in my life me and my boyfriend just moved in together, and I will be turning 21 in a month. I have 1 full sister and 5 half sibling of which I am the oldest. I am also a big animal lover...I have 3 cats, 3 dogs, and a guinea pig. I currently work at memorial medical center as a PCT. In my free time I love to read and write and travel.
