I'm a resident of Louisville and have ample information on hands-on volunteering opportunities, fundraising needs and the potential for other drives (such as reusable bags) that would immediately assist folks affected by the fires and help solve some of their current, every day stressors. 

I also moderate a hyper-local Facebook group for Louisville and Superior residents that has become a resource for city residents to help each other, get word out about available assistance and pass news along.
