420_F2023_Design Thinking Prototypes by

Using the SHoM habits OR Think-Puzzle-Explore (T-P-E) thinking routine, please take a few moments to comment on two prototypes you have not seen yet. If you were in class, this means Moriah's and Marla's because you've already commented on the others. The T-P-E routine is similar to See-Think-Wonder, but includes what Puzzles or questionings you have about the item or topic. "Explore" would be: "What does this prototype make you want to explore?" "Think" would be "What do you think you know about this topic or item?"

He expressed some concern about traveling alone. I had created Reassurance Roger to not only keep him company on his trip but provide some organization to make his trip easier. Reassurance Roger comes with a little back pack with a travel check list to make sure the traveler has everything they need, in addition it is meant to store any important items so they don’t forget them. Reassurance Rogers cute teddy bear design is meant to help comfort and make it seem like a traveler is not traveling alone.

There was a question meaning that teacher didn't understand special needs. Misunderstanding what my daughter actually knew. And the problem was the teacher need to be further educated and not to make assumptions on audio processing. Another words have an open mind. So the solution came about with the pitcure model. The "?" Representing the teacher not understanding. The middle section represented to have an open mind. So that was the brain was open to have an open mind. And the solution was the schoolhouse the last section, meaning to further educate themselves on special needs. Students and specifically audio processing.

My prototype is an active listening ear. If I were to mechanically build it, the two lines would circle around the ear, symbolizing the listening occurring. It stands on its own because the ear is the base, and you can't see the listening that is occurring inside the ear, which is why the lines are coming up from the ear. The solution is to have a lesson plan for everyone on active listening.
