         <description><![CDATA[<p>When you open this simulation, click launch. Pay attention to the person standing on the Earth. That represents where you are on Earth and what you see based on where you are. Pay attention to the location of the moon in relation to the Sun and Earth and what phase the moon is in. The picture at the top will be what you would see if you were to look up at the sky. When you open the simulation, you will start at the New Moon phase, where the moon will appear completely dark in the sky. You have two options to progress through time.</p><ol><li><p>You can drag the moon or the Earth.</p></li><li><p>You can use the play button, &lt; 1 hour, &gt; 1 hour, &lt;&lt; 1 day, or &gt;&gt; 1 day buttons on the ride side of the screen.</p></li></ol><p><br/></p><p>Comment or record a video below on what you learned and what you still wonder.</p>]]></description>
