A good leader should demonstrate quite a few qualities otherwise things can get out of hand. It has to be remembered that a country really shouldn't be run as a dictatorship as this can upset many people and cause many protests.

One of the qualities needed by a great leader is the ability to lead and have control over the people. If a leader is weak and doesn't take control, many people will start making up their own rules and there will be a lot of conflict.

Another quality needed is the ability to make decisions which is similar to the one above. If the ruler can't make decisions he/she is not really fit to rule.

A good leader should also be able to state their points and clearly convey information to the people.  This is really important as communication is vital to be successful as a ruler.

The leader should also be considerate of the people and if they have any concerns, he/she should take them into account. They should not ignore protests but try to understand them and come up with a solution or a compromise.

They should know what they are doing so that they will not struggle in the future (be head of time). 

If the community has a problem he should be able to help the people. Do whats best for the people even if does not like so should not be greedy. 

A good leader should be able to make good decisions and be able to explain to their people why this is a good idea for them. 

They should have the ability to rule their people because if they did not have the ability to rule they will mess up on a lot of things and that will not help that would just stress him out and then they would not be able to do anything (just like King Louis XVI he did not know what to do and was not fit for a king).

A good leader for starters should have earned respect by their team. They have to build a relationship in order to gain trust.

Another quality that is required is to have faith in their beliefs. If a leader doesn't truly believe in what they're saying, they won't be able to convince others.

A good leader should be able to make hard decisions. There will come a day where one choice could change everything, the leader should be able to demonstrate consideration and make the right choice.

The leader should articulate a clear vision.  Their followers should understand what message they're trying to convey and what good it will do for the people.

A good leader should condsider others. They should not be selfish and try do everything themselves they should take other people's opinions in consideration. They should meet the needs of their people.

 A leader must know how the people feel as well as how to stop the problems this means the leader can't be self-centred and selfish he must know what his people need

 A good leader must overcome hard times as he could be showing a role model to his/her people 

A leader must have some sort of bond with his people and his team , if this quality isn't here in the leader, the leader has a lot of work to do to gain trust from his people

The leader should always tell his people what is going on, he shouldn't try to hide anything otherwise this could cause a link of hidden truths to be revealed at once which I don't think his people would like, the leader needs to convey his message clearly.

A leader must always think ahead, tje leader must always be a step ahead of his/her people and he must always have the answers to his people's questions, so it shows his people how much he knows, this can also help gain trust.

•You need to have faith in your decisions and plans. You can't expect others to consider you a leader unless you have solid faith in your ideas. And once it's there, you build on communicating well, listening to others, setting examples and by putting your best foot forward and not giving up. 

•Also they need to be committed to what they sign up towards. You need to sacrifice what it takes to make whatever you need. They need to know the strengths and weaknesses of every individual to effectively manage the for success of them. Leaders have a great vision and use the things and resources at hand to solve problems. 

•They need to surround themselves with great people that they can provide good confidence , confident individuals who can work well as a team are a major key. A great leader needs a clear vision, is courageous, has integrity, honesty and clear focus. He or she is a needs to have a clear planner and believes in teamwork. 

•Great leaders help people reach their goals, are not afraid to hire people that might be better than them and take pride in the accomplishments of those they help along the way.
