COVID-19: UK society changes

The British 'way of living' and economy has been heavily impacted by the ongoing pandemic.

The national lock-down in March 2020, inconvenience of wearing face-masks and queuing at the supermarket has forced the majority of the British people to create a new life in an online world physically disconnected from each other.

Although 'Wash Hands, Cover Face, Make Space' has excellent physical benefits for human beings, it is detrimental to human psychology. Face coverings and social distancing measures are meant to protect people by isolating them socially. Social isolation is fundamentally harmful to an individual because he may suffer mentally from the lack of human interactions.

What worries me personally is that people over a period of time will get used to living this new way of life online and will most probably not want to return to being offline.
