Teams Sessions: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Self-Study: 10-15 hours a week (This course is Online)

This programme is delivered over Microsoft Teams, with opportunities for in-person days throughout.

• Interactive group sessions – Covering relevant themes of employability skills, personal growth, creativity, global culture, and plenty of fun!

• Discovery boxes - Each young person joining the programme will receive a Discovery Box, this is filled with exciting resources to use throughout the programme, including mystery envelopes to open in surprise sessions.

• Guest speakers - We’ll be joined by incredible guest speakers, teaching us new skills and sharing their stories.

• Discovery Village – All young people will receive access to Discovery Village, our online learning platform giving the opportunity for further learning.

• Rewards! - Every young person can access rewards by attending 8 sessions in one week with their camera on.

Whilst this event is for professional Referrer’s rather than parents/carers or the young person themselves, we would be more than happy to arrange a Teams meeting on an individual basis to relay the content of this event.

We’re currently accepting referrals for young people aged 16-25 in the following areas: Wrexham, Flintshire, Conwy, Anglesey, Denbighshire, and Gwynedd.

Cover a number of need to know areas of working behind a bar.

The workshops will be structured around short presentations from the Consultant, discussion in large groups, ‘breakout rooms’ discussions, Q&A, and with an emphasis upon participation and engagement.

Each session will be online from 9:30am to 12:30pm (Wednesday 19^th March, Thursday 20^th March).

• Group sessions: Tailored for staff from the same agencies, focusing on benefits, social care, housing, or health care.

• Ongoing support: Includes a forum for financial issues in Wales, daily news updates, and downloadable information packs.
