 Stand your ground law is in at least 24 different states, and lets  someone facing an imminent threat 
use lethal force right away, where as in places that do not have a Stand your ground law must try to retreat first and use force as a last option. (CNN News)
My personal feelings on stand your ground laws are against them. I feel that the defender must try to retreat or get away from the attacker before using force, otherwise any small thing a person finds rude could be used as an excuse to 🤬 another person.
