         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Print magazine launches in the U.S. 2023</strong></p><p>Published by <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="text-underline" href="https://www.statista.com/aboutus/our-research-commitment/1429/amy-watson">Amy Watson</a></p><p><br/></p><p>According to Statista, in total, there were 71 newly launched magazines in the United States in 2023, substantially fewer than the number launched in 2021 but in line with the amount of new publications entering the market in 2022. Special interest magazines tend to be make up the majority of newly-launched publications and book-a-zines continue to grow in popularity. However, labor shortages and inflation were just two of several factors affecting magazine publishing in 2022, issues which continued into 2023.</p>]]></description>
