When he was separated from his family, he was shot into a deep depression. I felt like that when I had moved to Utah, away from my family and friends. It was the hardest time of my life. Having this connection really helped me understand what Swift was going through.

When he found a mate, he had an easier time hunting, whereas before he had almost died trying to hunt by himself.
