Teotihuacan was one of the most important ancient cities in Mesoamerica, flourishing between 100 BCE and 550 CE. It was a massive, well-organized urban center with wide avenues and monumental structures like the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon. At its peak, it may have housed over 100,000 people, making it one of the largest cities of the ancient world.

Religion was central to life in Teotihuacan. The city was designed with cosmic alignments, and its temples were dedicated to powerful deities, including the Sun, Moon, and the Feathered Serpent (later known as Quetzalcoatl).
