Cell division is demonstrated in this lab because half of a potato grew into a lot of roots and multiple stems. This happened because the cells were able divide.

Cell differentiation was demonstrated in this lab when the potato plant grew the roots, stem, and leaves. These parts all had specialized cells that provided a specific function.

The results of our experiments were that two of the three plants died, and one was able to grow roots, stems and leaves.

This data supported our hypothesis because our hypothesis was that the size of the container it is growing in matters, and the two potatoes that were growing in the smaller container both died.

Some improvements that we could have made was growing it in a bigger container. Some errors that occurred were the size of the container was very small. Another error that occurred was that there was mold growing on two of the plants.
