There were 12 of us as Dr. Khairul's mentees. Sir conducted our meeting via Webex meeting as platform to ensure all 12 of his mentees to join the meeting. We had question & answer session with Dr. khairul. 

There were allot of sharing between our mentor and mentees. First of all, we asked about Dr. Khairul's background. Dr. Khairul is a son of fisherman in Terengganu who graduate in UPM under program of economics. He has working as lecture in UNIMAS almost 11 years. He loves traveling and explore to new places and things.

Dr. Khairul said it is a very tough year for everyone due to the pandemic situation, especially for student who studying online because even online system creates the possibilities of distant learning, it is also creates cons for some students where delay to submit their assingments and unable to finish quiz and exams on time due to poor internet connection. That is why Dr. Khairul had come up with pre-answering request as solution for this particular problem. 

Moreover, Sir also mentioned to us about the time management. Sir said it is tremendously important to elocate our time for studying, resting and self-time. He said good rest for brain will improve the result on our academic. 

Next, Sir said following all the instruction giving lecture is a tip to become a ideal student. Student should never blame each other for group assessment especially online learning because it is a very new thing for everyone to adapt. To overcome it, Sir suggested us to help each other by checking on each of our group member and recommended us to communicate with our senior often to get a wider picture.  

As students, we are struggling in our group assessment because we don't know each other very well and there is also some communication barriers which could lead to misunderstanding and procrastination. Sir gave solution where group work is a process of learning to everyone and a group formed based on different background of students. All religion student should get along with each other to improve better outcomes. 

Last but not least, Sir shared to us about the job market in future. He told us to keep update to all current situation and also master the IT world as skill for perform in a firm. It also important to improve our communication skill and boost up our confidence level to impress the employers during interviews and presentations even we academically strong. 

From the meeting, I've learned the importance of keeping our self updated.
