When I was in fifth grade, my teacher made us act out the book as we read it and it made us all want to read more so they could act out the scene. Role Playing is where the students look at the topic from the perspective of a character, who will be affect and be affected by a chosen topic. I am so excited to use this game in my future class so that my students would be entertained but learning at the same time

My teacher used to teach us this "KWLA+R" and I truly helped me because the K stands for "know," the students would write down what they know about the topic of the lesson before the assignment. The W stand for "wish," the students would write down what they wish to learn from the topic. The L stands for "learning," what is new to them in this lesson or topic. The A stands from "application," the students will write how they will apply what they learned from the lesson. The R stands for "reflection," the students will write how it may better the world or help them in their future. This has always made me realize that my teacher cared about what we knew and didn't know. I want to do the same in my classroom so my students know I care.

When I was in middle school, my teacher would make us do a reading assignment, for example, and then she would let us pass our assignments around to give feedback on others work before we turned in the assignment just so that the students get help and feedback. After we got our feedback back, we would fix some things and then turn the assignment in. I really loved this because at such a young age, you forget little things and having your peers help you to get a better grade is just great.

When I was probably in the 4th grade, my teacher would make us hang up our assignments on the "Share" board. Once we hung them up, we would one by one go up and give good feedback to 2 assignments on a sticky note. After everyone was finished giving feedback, we would take our assignment with all our feedback and know what we did wrong or how good and perfect it was! I feel like sharing your work may be hard for some people but it gets everyone interacted and helps all the students at the same time.

She would put up our vocabulary words for the week and it was easy to study and write them down. Ashe made the board come to life so it was fun to learn everything on it.

Mostly all of my elementary teachers were very good with respecting us as students. For a teacher to get respect, she has to give it to the students. If the students feel they're in control they will probably do what they want and end up getting in trouble. Respect is big thing to me and I feel that when my teachers gave me respect, it meant a lot and it made me respect them too.
