         <description><![CDATA[<div>They introduce foreign industries to the area such as converting land into pastoral areas, mines which create pollution, and military bases that disrupt the natural habitat.<br><br>Another Consequence is tourism, where visitors dump non-biodegradable waste in the deserts causing harmful effects such as extinction to flora and fauna, and pollution being released into soil, groundwater, and the air.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Drivers leave tracks on the ground, which can also destroy the vegetation there, and the animals that eat that food could die of starvation.<br><br>Atomic testing would completely destroy the area around it. It was done pretty often about a hundred years ago.<br><br>Water mining was also, and is also another reason of destruction of the Sahara Desert.</div>]]></description>
