My students insert images and use Screencastify to insert videos. This adds their personality into their project. I also use Google Classroom, Docs, and Forms with my students.  The list of sites I use to extend classroom instruction is long...a few of my favorites are Kahoot, ePic, Tour Creator, Zearn, Freckle and Xtra Math. 
I have a secret Facebook page that I use for communication with parents.  I also use Bloomz.  This helps to keep parents involved in what we do daily.  They love seeing pictures of their kids at school and the different activities that take place.
