People waited on a huge line to see the tourist attraction and were filled with excitement. In this picture there is a Christian statue called “Virgin and Child” and some pages of the Quran displayed side by side to present the religions in harmony. In his design for the museum he tried to reflect nobility. Nouvel says that it was a challenge to create something for people from all over the world, but ultimately one of his best works and it is important for all generations. This shows that the the museum was not just designed to look good, it had a lot of thought put into it to help represent the museum. His gorgeous creation is a tourist attraction and learning museum.

October 29, 2011: They announced that the opening of the museum was delayed and gave no set open date 

January 2012: The museum was said to be opened in 2015 

October 22, 2014: The dome was installed which was a huge deal and advancement in the construction of the Louvre Abu Dhabi 

November 8, 2017: The Louvre Abu Dhabi was established 

November 11, 2017: The museum was finally opened to the public 

2047: The 30 year contract between Paris and Abu Dhabi will be up
