The Strait of Gibraltar currently controls 1/3 of the world's oil shipments. Approximately 300 ships cross it daily for international trade and transshipment.</p>]]></description>

Because of that, there was a lot of demand for diamonds and because of that, people were making and selling fake diamonds. Due to that, tensions tightened between two sides of the civil war. Eventually in 2000, Sierra Leones ambassador spoke out and talked about how the diamonds were the root of the problem. </p>]]></description>
