It had China to the North with Cambodia and Laos to the West. Vietnam was also the official language there but many people had also known English as there second language. It had a beautiful coastline that was 2,140 miles long which a guide had told me about. The areas was very well know for the Vietnam war in 1955 that lasted until 1975. Later me and Addie went to Hanoi, the capital, and we got to see many people with different religions and beliefs. Vietnam was known that it had been recognized by 54 ethnic groups. We also had went to the Red River Delta which was known to be usually flooded. Hue City was our next stop and it had beautiful stone statues of soldiers. He was a pioneer Vietnamese of the 20th century  nationalism. Our guide had also told us about Ho Chi Minh. The country is officially a non religious country, but many people are Kinh which is Ethnic Vietnamese. The people also had a policy called the Three Nos Policy. It is a symbol of the country's struggle against domination by the French and communist leadership which shows just how much they struggled in the beginning. The red of the flag was to represent the bloodshed, struggle, and revolution of the country. The star on the flag represents the country's national unity despite its turbulent past they lived through.
