When reading a difficult text, you must write and keep notes because the notes can help you later. You may find yourself reading the text a few more times because maybe you missed an important fact that could maybe change your opinion on the whole text. You should also make notes on the text because this could really help to keep thoughts on the text organized. On easier text, you can read it a few times and make some small notes on it to understand it a little more.</div>]]></description>

Check the author and see what kind of genre he specializes in. See if you have previous knowledge on the author. Read anything that is before the main text to get a know of the text. Read the first paragraph or two to see what the text is mainly about. Read the first sentence of each paragraph to see the main points of the author and his or her's ideas. Make journal entries on the text to see what you think you will expect in the text. </div>]]></description>
