I've worked in several different roles, and last year I transitioned out of management, with long days and constantly being on-call, to a new role and a new department: Sterile Processing. SP processes and prepares surgical equipment and tools, and works in conjunction with the Surgery department to ensure that all surgical equipment and tools are clean, sterile, and safe for use on patients.
