Join in groups of three or four and discuss a neighbourhood problem to create a soundless video.  Think how you can transmit the problem so as the neighbours can reflect about it, make conscious and take a different attitude. How can you transmit the problem? You can take photographs, record short videos to show the problem.

Some problems in the community:

1- Rubbish on the street

2- Throwing rubbish on the stream

3- The importance of not cutting the trees

Think about the speech you would add to the images and/or film you have collected from the problem you have chosen. Remember you have to describe the topic, and make the neighbours aware of the problem. You have to achieve neighbours change their attitude and take care about the place where they live.

That's why I've started my post with that definition. I would ask them about their thoughts, their reactions to the images and then I would assign the following tasks (they would work in groups):

Group A: create a soundless film that shows what happened before the image you have seen on the link provided.
Group B: create a sound film that shows what happened before the image you have seen on the link provided.
After watching students' films, we would discuss about their feelings, their emotions, their reactions to the different options (sound and soundless), their messages and their effectiveness to provoke something on the audience. We would discuss about every choice they have made to have that final product since that would let us talk about the topic in a critical way.
