Areas identified included students feeling unsafe at school, being treated unfairly, and missing school or reasons other than illness/physical health.

These areas should be prioritized to help increase students’ attendance and improve their sense of safety while in school. Focusing on these areas would contribute to students’ overall academic, social and emotional success.
