I have family that lives near here and they tend to complain frequently about the amount of construction that happens. They live right near Bangerter and they talk a lot about the noise and pollution. It's hard for residents to get to locations when construct is almost always an ongoing thing so people constantly have to find different routes to get them from point A to B.

Parking. Either with the schools or churches nearby there's always a situation where people have to park on the street. I've heard on of the churches was going to buy land across the street to add onto to parking so others wouldn't need to continue parking on the streets where their chances of getting their car hit is higher.

In this neighborhood, street lighting has been an ongoing issue. There are light poles but they never light enough for someone to walk and feel safe. This neighborhood recently experienced gun violence so having a working street light is important to keep the community safe and for people to have a sense of security. This will also allow those who walk at night comfort which they would appreciate greatly.

Over the years the community has heard plans to redo the bumpy roads on multiple streets. One I drive through quite frequently and I get annoyed because there's a certain area that feels like I'm on a roller coaster going over it. The city has redone the road of 4700 S and right off of Bangerter but not the main bumpy road on 4000 w turning left off of 4700 S.

For the sake of this assignment and my personal life, I find this neighborhood to be comfortable and a friendly environment. As the area I chose is surrounded by various schools and parks I see the community involve themselves in the activities they have at the parks and school events. I find this neighborhood to care for the community a lot and I feel like they interact more as a family instead of neighbors. I feel like there a lot of convenient places around like grocery stores like Smith's, Walmart, Rancho Market, etc., parks, restaurants, public libraries, and banks. There are a lot of resources that surround this community so sometimes it's not hard to go somewhere close that is convenient for these individuals.
