week 1 - adab in learning

Adab in learning is very importance because we can learn new knowledge as a student. The importance adab in learning is we must recite our doa. This is because, it will be easier to us to understand. By recite doa, we get berkah from Allah to learn something new. Besides that, we must wear comfortable wear comfortable clothes that follow syariah. If we practise adab in leaning it makes our learning proses easier and we will enjoy doing it without stress.

week 2 - hadith jibril

Hadith Jibril contain 5 things. It was the five pillars, the six articles of faith, ihsan, when the last day and signs of last day. It is obligatory for Muslim follow the five pillars of Islam. The five pillars of Islam are profession of faith (shahadah) by belief no god other than Allah and Prophet Muhammad is the Messenger of God, salah five times a day, pay alms, fasting during Ramadhan and pilgrimage. Secondly, six articles of faith. The six articles of faith are belief in Allah, belief in Malaikah, belief in Kutub, belief in Rusul, belief in Last day and belief in Qada’ and Qadr. Thirdly, Ihsan. Ihsan, is we worshipping Allah like we see Allah, but we don’t, but Allah surely see us. Practise ihsan can make our act of ibadah more sincerely and want to seek his forgiveness. Lastly, about the last day. As a Muslim, we don’t know when the last day because Allah want us to always obey him until the end and seek his forgiveness, but we know the signs. Such as, poor shepherds competing one another on the construction of higher buildings.

week 3 - the five pillars of Islam

The five pillars of Islam are obligatory to Muslim to follow. We become more closer to Allah if we follow the five pillars. We have to belief Allah by doing ibadah in daily life so that we will be afraid to doing sins. Next, belief in Malaikah by belief that they always with us and see what we do to write down our good and bad for the last day so that we will avoid doing sins. Thirty, belief in Kutub by always read it and understand the meaning of it and practise it will be our guidance in daily life. Fourthly, belief in Rusul by follow his sunnah so that we will reject the fake prophets. Fifthly, belief in last day by always obey allah and doing good things so that we will always doing good things. Lastly, belief in Qada’ and Qadr by always grateful with the destiny.

When usrah i dont think about my problem because i only focus to learn new knowledge from my new friends, even though i dont remember their name, but i feel so happy and relax when they present (susah nk luahkan dlm bi but mmg enjoy and rasa tenang bila dengar dorg cakap or bagi ceramah sbb masing2 ada pendapat masing2. i gain new knoledge there).Thank you ♡. Importance of adab toward parents

1. Allah give reward.
This is because adab toward parents is the most significant aspect of Islam. Our jihad as children is to take care of our parents.

2. Build good relationship.
They don’t fight with each other and can communicated well without misunderstanding.

3. Become role model to others
People around us well follow our good manner towards parents. For example, be polite to them, obey them and others.

1. Being patient and tolerant with parents

The children must take great care not to react to what their parents have to say, If they say or do anything which is not liked or approved of by the children, then they must show patience and tolerance instead of giving vent to their anger. The children must scrupulously try to refrain from disobeying their parents since the Prophet ﷺ regarded this as one of the grave sins.

2. Love your parents

Love your parents and consider this act as a privilege and a source of reward in the eternal world.

3. Obey your parents with full devotion

Obey your parents with full devotion. Even if they show some intransigence, obey their will cheerfully. Keeping in view the great favors which they have done to you, try to fulfil all their demands willingly which may be offensive to your own taste or temperament, provided, of course, they are not derogatory to the tenets of religion.

4. Spend Good on Them

Consider your own goods as the property of your parents and spend your capital on them with an open hand.

5. Remember your parents after they have passed away

Observe the following etiquette to render good service to your deceased parents:

a- offer prayers continuously invoking mercy of Allah upon your dead parents
b- fulfil all the contracts and promises made by your parents
c- show good conduct to the friends of your parents

week 4- pillars of iman

Pillars of Iman is basicly focuses on belief in. For example, belief in Allah, Malaikah, Kitab, Prophet, Last day and Qada & Qadar.
If we believe in this our life will became more secure. Beside that, we will know do good things because we know allah see us and malaikah always around us. We know the right and wrong because we read and understand al-quran that have given to us by allah to be our guidence. This make us more sincerely to obey to allah and know allah create us to obey him.

week 5 - ihsan and last day

Ihsan is we worshipping Allah like we see him even though we didnt se him but surely he se our act. By practice ihsan in our life. We will became more sincerely in doing good deeds. Our ibadah will be better and beyong the minimum.

Last day is also known as a kiamat. Nobody knows when last day will be except Allah. But allah give us signs about last day. For example, parents will be servant to their own children, people fight to build higher buildings and people dont care about their aurah.

Surah about abad toward parents

Surah al-Isra (17:23)

وَقَضَىٰ رَبُّكَ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُ وَبِٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ إِحْسَـٰنًا ۚ إِمَّا يَبْلُغَنَّ عِندَكَ ٱلْكِبَرَ أَحَدُهُمَآ أَوْ كِلَاهُمَا فَلَا تَقُل لَّهُمَآ أُفٍّۢ وَلَا تَنْهَرْهُمَا وَقُل لَّهُمَا قَوْلًۭا كَرِيمًۭا

For your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And honour your parents. If one or both of them reach old age in your care, never say to them ˹even˺ ‘ugh,’ nor yell at them. Rather, address them respectfully.

Hadith

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللّه بن مَسْعُودٍ رضي اللّه عنه قال: ” سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللّه صَلَّى اللّه عَلَيْهِ وَسلَّمَ: أَي الْعَمَلِ أَحَبُّ إلى اللّه؟ قال: ” الصَّلاةُ عَلَى وَقْتِهَا”. قُلْتُ: ثُمَّ أيٌّ ؟ قال: ” بِرُّ الْوالِدَيْنِ “. قُلْتُ: ثُمَّ أيٌّ ؟ قال: ” الجِهَادُ في سَبِيلِ اللّه ” – رواه البخاري

From Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud RA said, "I asked the Messenger of God SAW: 'Which practice does God like the most?' He replied, "Prayer at its time". 'Then what?' I said. He replied, "Be good to both parents". I asked again, 'Then what?'. He replied, "Jihad in the way of God." (Narrated by Bukhari)

Adab towards parents

We have to be kind toward our parents because they are the ones that take care of us from we are babies until now. A lot of acts we can do toward our parents. For example, talk with kindness and buy goods for them.

Adab towards teacher

We have to stay focused in class and not make our teacher sad because of our actions. This is because teachers can make them good people one day

Adab towards society

We have to act kind to people around us by greeting each other and being kind to them even though it was the first time we meet them.

THE VIRTUES THAT FOUND IN SADAQAH

🌙 Sadaqah brings ukhuwwah among mankind

feeling empathy towards each other
help each other
we believe that if we help people, if one day we are in hard time, Allah will help us back
sharing each other happiness

🌙 Sadaqah eases hardships and removes calamities

even though we are in hardship, we still have to sadaqah.
Allah will give to us back but we don't know when
rezeki come from Allah
show our iman

🌙 Sadaqah is one of the gates of Jannah

In jannah, they are diff door for people that like to sadaqah

🌙 Sadaqah is an investment in this life and hereafter

Allah will give award to people that like to sadaqah
maybe the same day or other day
maybe in this life or hereafter
Allah know what best for us

📝SADAQAH AND DERMA IS DIFFERENCE !!!

Sadaqah - only us and Allah know.
Derma - all people know, the leader, the upper class basically give RM1000+ to those in need.

THE VIRTUES FOUND IN SALAH WITH KHUSHU'

🌼Al-ta'ah (submission/loyalty)
- obey the leader order even thought it was hard or easy
- to show obedience to the leader

🌼Al-jihad (struggle in the path of Allah
- we are better if we jihad in solah than we don't solah
- it include control nafsu/desire

🌼Muhasabah (reflection)
- have the feeling to muhasabah their self
- ask Allah to forgive us and make a firm resolve to stay away

🌼Iffah (modestty)
- Allah give us feeling to feel guilty when we are doing something wrong

🌼Tawaddu'
- as Muslim, we don't have anything in the world because all thing in the world is belongs to Allah
- we submit to Allah because we are his servants

Preparation for salah with kushu'

❄️Taharah

Wuduk

We have to make sure that our wudu' is sah (cleanliness from impurities).

Tayamum

This is a replacement for water if we want to take wudu' but there is no water or we injured that our injury cannot touch by the water. We only have to rub the dust on our faces and hand. This show that Islam is easy.

❄️Condition for the acceptance of salah

Islam
Sanity - We think and behave in doing something
Reaching the act of maturity/baligh - start age 7 we can punish the Muslims that don't salah.
Remover of filth - purify ourself and make sure we are clean
Covering the awrah - for woman they have to cover all beside palm and face. Meanwhile, for man they have to cover from belly button to knee.
The entrance of proper time - we have to make sure that we solah in the right time. For zohor we have to solah during zohor.
Facing the qiblah - we have to make sure that we know the qiblah is true and we have to chech it by using apps
The intention

❄️Pillars of Salah

1. Stand properly

3. Opening takbir ( takbiratul ihram )- اَللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ (allah yang maha besar)
4. Reciting surah alfatihah
5. Rukuk - سُبْحَانَ رَبِّىَ الْعَظِيْمِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
6. Rising from rukuk ( i'tidal ) -
سَمِعَ الله لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ، رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ
7. Sitting between to prostrations - اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَاهْدِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي وَعَافِنِي وَاعْفُ عَنِّي
8. Sitting tahiyat awal
9. Sitting tahiyat akhir
10. Praising Prophet Muhammad
11. Salam

❄️Application of Salah based on the situation
1. musafir - must 2 marhallah (81km)
- jama' = takdim (solah during zuhur and maghrib) / takhir(solah during asar and isyak)
- qasr = shorten our solah ( 4 to 2 )

2. illness (how we want to pray if we are suffer with illness?)

- lie on side
- lie on back
- signal of eyes
- finger
- remember in heart

REASONS AND SOURCES OF HIKMAH FROM IBADAH

Solah

Allah orders Muslim and it is also in the pillars of Islam. What do we get if we solah? Allah will give a reward which is pahala and it makes us closer to Allah. It also prevents us from doing sins.

Sawm

Performing al sawn every month of Ramadhan makes us understand the struggles that poor people go through. Other than that, it also makes our minds more active than others. We also can get a double reward when we ibadah while we are fasting.

Zakah

It helps us clean our wealth of dirty things. Furthermore, we can give the needed people so that they can survive.

Pilgrimage

It protects us from our desire to do bad things such as backbiting and others.

SYURGA OR JANNAH

In Jannah, we don't need to do ibadah. Allah doesn't allow us to do it except for alullah. They can ask Allah if they want to read the Quran. Before we enter Jannah we have to gather in mahsyar where Allah will ask us a question about the thing that we do in the world but if we always read surah Al-Imran and Al-baqarah, its help us to answer the question

Addition:

Ubai bin Ka'ab is the king of alquran. He can read Quran the same as Malaikah jibril Also, Allah commands Prophet Muhammad to ask Ubai to read for him.

We know each other(taaruf). We introduced ourselves to each other by saying our name, course, and the place we live.

Our facilitator also shares some stories about niat. I learn that niat is powerful. When we niat, we already get pahala from Allah even though we don't do it yet. Ibadah with niat has 3 categories which are:

we do it because we scared of Allah
we do it because we know Allah will give us pahala
we do it because we are his slave and he is Allah

Besides that, I also learn the importance of redo. We have to redo no matter whether we achieved our goal or not, Allah knows the best for us.

I really enjoy usrah 2. This is my last usrah in CFS. I really appreciate how my facilitator make us enjoy usrah. This usrah not only shares the thoughts of our facilitator, it also includes the members of usrah sharing their opinion every week. I like sharing secs. We can share our opinion. Thank you zal and others. I truly had a good time during usrah.

This topic was presented by my group mates.

We share virtues that can be found in al-sawm.

Firstly, sabr. Sabr is a common virtue that can be found in every ibadah. For fasting, we have to be patient with all commandments that prohibit us from eating or drinking or doing bad things during the day.

Secondly, rahmah. Basically, when we fast, we can tie our relationship not only with Muslims but also non-Muslims. For example, in Bazar Ramadhan. There will be a lot of people from different backgrounds coming to the same place. Other than that, in fasting, the rules are the same and the ibadah are the same.

Lastly, takrim. Even though we, as girls, are going to have our period once a month, we have to respect other people that fast by not eating in front of them. Besides that, we also have to take care of our mouths by not saying bad words about other people or backbitting.
