I chose see you again for my song to represent my theme. This is a strong representation of my theme because it shows what Romeo and Juliet should have realized and done instead of the choices they made. Their choice to fall in love and not listen to everyone led them to make poor choices and have unusual behavior. Romeo and Juliet were so in love and had ignorance for everyone's opinions about being in love. I chose the quote " Even so she lies. Blubb'ring and weeping, weeping and blubbering." This quote supports how Romeo and Juliet had immature behavior after being so dangerously in love

I chose this postcard from Romeo to Juliet as a way to represent my theme. This postcard supports the theme because Romeo is afraid and ensuring Juliet to not let her dad see the mail, and is having Friar make a plan to keep them together. They are so in love while it is dangerous, that Romeo is doing things out of character. "O, teach me how I should forget to think!" This quote supports Romeo being immature due to his strong emotions about being in love with Juliet.

I chose these text messages between Romeo and Juliet to represent my theme because it shows how desperate Romeo was for love. Because he was so desperate, he did things out of his character, which led to consequences. "O mischief, thou art swift. To enter in the thoughts of desperate men!" This quote represents Romeo being desperate as he is quick to suicide when he hears that Juliet is dead.

I chose this journal entry from Juliet to represent my theme as it shows the true "desperation for love" that Juliet has for Romeo. In Romeo and Juliet, Juliet usually talks about her love for Romeo as "love a first sight" and boundless or infinite. These phrases or words represent Juliets desperation for love as she has only known Romeo for a quick second and has not even gotten to know him fully. "My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep, The more I have, for both are infinite."

I chose this poster to represent the desperate love between Romeo and Juliet because it shows how Romeo knew that the love between him and Juliet wouldn't and should not work but he still held on and fought for it to work. He did all of these things because he was still so desperate and in love with Juliet and did not know what he would do without her or how to let go. "Under love's heavy burden do I sink." This quote represents how Romeo doesn't know if he can move on without Juliet.

For my project theme, I chose "Being desperate for love can lead us to do things out of character or have unusual behaviors. I chose this theme because it relates to Romeo and Juliet greatly. In the story, Romeo is so deep and desperate for love that he does things out of his character to stay in love and keep his love with Juliet. Romeo's rash behavior and immature and impulsive decisions are what lead to the downfall of the two.

Many times throughout the story, Romeo describes himself as desperate to help us as readers understand the he felt like he had no other option but to join Juliet in death because he was still so in love with her. Without her love, he would feel lost and hopeless without her. in conclusion, there is much evidence throughout the story showing that Romeo being desperate for love led to him making poor and immature, impulsive and rash decisions.
