         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. My academic goal is soft skill oriented. I'd like to improve my work ethic. Taking responsibility for what I need to get done and do it in a timely manner, and with purpose.<br><br>2. The soft skill I'd like to improve is time management. I'd like to seriously limit my time on social medias, and reserve time in my day to study for SATs, develop my portfolio, and apply to colleges. <br><br>3. A personal goal for me is to be grateful for each day in a different way. Taking time in my day to reflect over my life in general. Set time in the morning and afternoons to sit for five minutes and breath. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) Academic: I would like to be happy with the work I accomplished by the end of the year by building up a portfolio. This can assist me in the near future when I apply to colleges and art schools.<br>2) <mark>Soft Skill: I need to become more comfortable with teamwork and communication.</mark> I am known to be socially awkward and independent, so I need to fix that and push my limits socially. I want to maintain my independence yet still be able to socialize and improve teamwork<br>3) Personal: I need to make more time to edit and learn about design. I have recently created an Instagram account for editing and learning different softwares, and I would love to expand that and create a new hobby and join a new community.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Remain in the top 10. Being in the top 10 isn't really that important in the grand scheme of things, but it's a source of self-pride for me. I could care less if other people knew I guess, but to see all of my time and effort pay off is nice. <br>2. I want to <mark>develop my conflict resolution skills.</mark> Now more than ever, I find myself in actual disagreements with people because I have my own set of morals; I don't just concave to whatever people around me think/feel. I don't want to lose good relationships with family or friends over these disagreements so I want to feel prepared when facing conflict.<br>3. Feel<mark> comfortable saying "no"</mark> so I can find more balance. In past years I feel like I've been such a people-pleaser PLUS I actually want to be involved in a variety of things. I need to remove the people-pleasing aspect entirely so I can put a more concerted effort into the things I WANT to do. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) Get the AP credit on all three of my AP exams and improve my study skills. I have great grades, very few of my exams reflect that.<br>2) <mark>Improve my attitude about my capabilities as a student.</mark> I know my worth and I know I am very capable, but the first thing I joke about is something negative about myself.<br>3) Push myself to learn complex songs/styles on guitar. Along with this I would also like to spend less time worrying about other people's opinions of my or spending time with toxic people so that their views of my become my views of myself. <br>ACADEMIC<br>I want to feel satisfied with all of the work that I create this year. I have to accept what I do well with and what I don't excel in. <br>SOFT SKILLS<br>I want to be able to find creativity in all of my subjects and to be able to involve my creativity in any project or acitivity that I do this year. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. get into art school and keep up grades to decent scores throughout the year. Getting into art school and getting out of here is like my number one goal currently. This includes also getting a good grade on the SAT.<br>2. work on time management; learn to focus and finish art more. I have a bad habit of wanting to create but not knowing what to create or what to prioritize when i have multiple projects going so i just scroll for inspiration and never find it. I find i have to live life to find the right inspiration that makes a strong piece. <br>3. have a professional art portfolio and website as well as active art social media so i can build a following and potential clients for my illustrative and design work </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>ACADEMIC:<br>I plan to achieve a 4 or 5 on all my AP Exams and to improve my SAT score by at least 50 <br><br>SOFT SKILL:<br>I plan to improve my organization so that I misplace fewer items this year, and I could make that happen by putting time aside after school daily to organize my supplies.<br><br>PERSONAL: <br>I plan to spend more time thinking of the future instead of locking myself in the same daily patterns.  This could be achieved by saving money, writing out scholarship applications, or planning for and making large purchases, such as a laptop or a car.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>ACADEMIC - I hope that by the end of the year I continue to take pride in the work I do. My coursework this year is going to be challenging, so I want to be conscious of the effort that I'm putting in. I don't want to get discouraged by grades because the numbers shouldn't mean as much to me as they do. I want to work towards caring less about the numbers and more about the time and effort that goes into my work.<br>SOFT SKILLS - I'd like to continue to work towards being more adaptable. I wouldn't say it's a weakness of mine, but it's important to me that I remain open minded and flexible when plans change. I want to be able to bounce back from setbacks by coming up with different solutions and not getting stuck.<br>PERSONAL - I want to be more genuine to myself and do more of the things that matter to me. I've noticed, especially over the summer, that I waste a lot of time on social media even though I really dislike it. I want to take more time to read books, play music, doodle, anything that helps me stay in touch with myself.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1)  Get AP credit on all 4 of my AP courses this year. I can only use 3 out of the 4 classes I am taking in college, but I want to prove to myself that if I work hard and manage my time I can face challenges I face.  <br><br>2)  I want to improve time management, but rather than making more time for school and athletics, I want to make more time for activities that are healthy and beneficial to my mental and physical health. So spending time with my family, being outdoors, and making time for things I love is going to become more of a priority to me.<br><br>3) I am going to work towards being less "self destructive". Even though I don't purposely sabotage myself, I tend to make decisions that aren't in my best interest such as procrastinating and/or doing things for others because I have trouble saying no even when I have things going on in my own life that are more important to me.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Complete the year with passing grades and respectable work. I'd like to feel accomplished with work.<br><br>2. Time management. I'm a last minute person, always up late. It'd be better to sleep earlier instead of napping. Homework should be finished in school.<br><br>3. I'd like to focus on music and art. My band mates have a wide spectrum of tastes and its difficult to sit down and stick to one thing. Part of it is the friendships that get distracting and side conversation, but one day we need to hunker down.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>(Academic Goal): Do only what I need to do and not go too above and beyond. Then hopefully get accepted to R.I.T. and move on from this farmer school (no offense farmers)<br><br>(Soft-Skills): Work Ethic, could do better with that. I tend to prioritize the things that I like first and then half-ass the rest of my school work.<br><br>(Personal Goal): Spend more time doing things I've always wanted to do but didn't give myself the time to do them previously. All last year I solely focused on my cartoon portfolio for college and nothing else. And while I greatly enjoyed it, with my incoming early decision deadline for R.I.T. coming soon I need to put all this newfound time into things that I've always wanted to do. Along with that, I really want to drop the things that I just don't care about at all like Drama Club and put that new time into things that matter to me. The four things I really want done by the end of the year I want to get a better diet, put exercise in my daily routine, learn how to skateboard, and learn how to play the banjo</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I will use my planning periods mindfully toward creating curriculum, uploading units into Schoology, and/or grading<br><strong>Potential Challenges:</strong> Wandering (I can have 5 minutes to take a lap, get water, etc), Phone scrolling (Check messages and then put phone away in my desk).<br><strong>Soft-Skills-<br></strong>Be Proactive- Ask for meetings, information, mentoring etc regarding course work/ ggrowth vs. reactively checking off assigned requirements <strong>(</strong>Meet w/ EH monthly)<strong><br><br>Personal- </strong>Clean eating; don't let the gym be the first thing to go when my schedule gets crunched.<strong>Potential Challenge:</strong> After-dinner snacking (Only bring this food into my home; food prep Sundays and Wednesdays). </div>]]></description>
