According to the ADBG (2023) "Despite the reopening of the economy after almost two years of COVID-19 containment measures, GDP growth fell to 0.8% in 2022 from 2.2% in 2021. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, global logistical challenges, and climate shocks dampened growth. The largest contributor to 2022 GDP growth was agriculture (22.1%), followed by wholesale and retail trade (12.6%) and real estate and construction (6.5%)." This is important for us to understand how such a dispriviliged country depends on the sector they have a principal lack of.
