Situation-160 miles northwest of Tahiti and 2,600 miles south of Hawaii

Site- Bora Bora is a volcanic formation. It rises up from the lagoon with green hillsides and black volcanic rock.

After the WW11 Bora Bora was never touched. Over the years hotels and bungalows have been built to help grow Bora Bora. Building more helped to have more people and grow the population of Bora Bora. Since the water is so clean and clear in Bora Bora it creates a perfect home for the marine life and that is why Bora Bora is known for snorkeling,

Bora Bora is part of the northwest coast region. Its really close to Tahiti and I would put Tahiti in the northwest. The formal region is considered to be the French Polynesia. I think everybody thinks Bora Bora is just an island and they wouldn't even put it on a region. They think palm trees, ocean, sand, and tropical drinks.

When you hear Bora Bora the only really spatial interaction is between Tahiti. The close location allows it to easily trade with Tahiti Bora Bora obviously doesn't interact with countries far away because the friction of distance makes it to hard. As for time-space compression, the world is becoming smaller. The more Bora Bora will be able to trade the more it will have more communications with the rest of the world.
